I know that no side conceded as many as us ever in the opening games, but has anyone ever then followed it up with defensive displays like us?

 

We're back.

 

Whatever you think of the manager, that's fine, but he's been flawless in the last few and I think it shows that he never lost the dressing room.

Not to be a downer but if we want to be a top 6 team again, even a top 10 team, KDH shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11. He's got a lot of spirit and fight, and is an honest pro but he isn't up to the technical level required

Strong showing, dominated possession. Another clean sheet. Long time since we condeded from a corner.

 

Plenty to do but big strides made since the Brighton & Spurs debacles.

 

Still ambivilent over Brendan but credit where due.

Faes has made a big difference to our structure and confidence. Ward has come good. Youri is now putting in the hard yards and worldie goals. And Maddison has been brilliant. Have to give Rodgers credit too for recent games. Still think I'm out, but much, much less so.

Best performance of the season, controlled the game for the most part and created loads of chances.

 

Brendan is boss!

We were magnificent and outstanding. Knew Rodgers would turn it around. 

 

The vitriol he got on this board was embarrassing and pathetic.

 

Wout Faes is a better defender than glass legs fofana and a blessing in disguise of a signing

 

Southgate has no excuses and if he does not pick Madders he needs a brain scan.

Not sure he would have started if Peart was available

Outstanding. With a bit more quality in final ball we win that even more comfortably. 

Sure up our defence and the quality was always there. What a man Faes is, bringing confidence of those around him up too. Ward looks a different man. 

 

Soumare obvious weak link but in-between the times he lost the ball he played some nice stuff too. 

 

Best we've played for ages. Would love Everton to drop.
