I always think that it's a bizarre tactical decision to bring on a sub so late on to take a penalty.  This adds to the pressure unnecessarily and then to make them the first taker is criminal.  But  at Spain regardless.

I said at the time, I wouldn’t look too much into it. Costa Rica just didn’t put a foot in and were absolutely atrocious. One draw and two defeats later show you where Spain are

Not sure if he meant the dink to be as low it was but if you're going to be casual about it, down the middle is the place to go. So many shit casual pens to a corner that is guaranteed to be saved if the keeper goes right way. 

 

Want to see Morocco forcing Portugal players into tears through their physicality, unless Switzerland can do the job first.
