Tete is massive for us. It moves Maddison centrally and then straight away we have at least 2 forwards who can get the ball and not lose it immediately. I still think we should get Nacho in the starting line up because his link up play with much better forwards could be great to watch.

Ward

Castange Amartey (sounds like Soutts won’t be ready) Faes Kristensen

Mendy KDH

Tete Maddison Barnes

Nacho

Ward in goal 😳 he is an awful keeper

I’d have Iversen of course but I know it’ll never happen. I suppose I should have not put Nacho in there too because let’s face it that ain’t gonna happen either.

Young Wanya referenced as wing cover - I’ve not watched a lot of under 21s. Anyone who has, how does he look ? It be great if we discover another gem.

He's decent, had a couple of injuries in the last 2 years that may have halted his progress and may well already be in the first team reckoning. He was particularly impressive last season before he was put for a few months.

He's got great work rate, energy and is very good bringing the ball forward. Good passer and plays a lot of very confident one two's where he then gets behind defences.

Wonder how many of the new three will start?

Honestly think it might be zero, but hope it’s two. They’ve only just joined the group and it’s Brendan. Tete and Kristiansen off the bench in 2nd half. Kristiansen is still building fitness, maybe he will start and get 60 mins instead.

Souttar is injured anyway.

Tete will be on the bench, no doubt about it. Never gona blood him straight into the team at the expense of KDH or tielemans in, when Maddison slots back in there

As per Rodgers playbook all 3 will start on the bench and get the last 15 minutes if there lucky , the following week they all will be in the stands as Rodgers doesn’t rate them , they will start a club with cags and vesty called the outsiders .
all tongue in cheek 🤪🤪

Hope they all start and we have a big win

As much as I’d want him to go for it with a full lineup, I reckon only VK starts out of the three.

Ward

Castagne

Amartey

Faes

Kristiansen

Mendy

Tielemans

KDH

Maddison

Daka

Barnes

Tete on around 60 mins mark.

I disagree with Kristiansen being the most likely, as he’s come to us half way through pre season. Tete is fresh and half way though his season like us. Personally think they’ll both start.

All three new signings will start.

Thats about an un-Brendan as you get. But then, in his last press conference Brendan almost looked a little 'happy'. Or he had wind.

Do think this sets a marker for the season. If he starts all 3 it shows he's willing to take a risk and that he backs the signings (assuming Souttar isnt injured).

lol, having a 2 month old baby genuinely knowing when the smiles stop being from wind and because of genuine happiness is not the easiest to spot!

Sounds good. Perhaps this is why it was deemed OK to release both Marc and Perez
