Exactly, they all think that but the majority(of course exceptions) have regressed on the pitch. Nigel Pearson man management is levels above Brendan Rodgers.

What role did you have under the two of them?

I don't know how realistic a target he'd be but what have our resident Europhiles made of Xabi Alonso at Leverkusen? Second bottom when he took over in October, now 8th having won 10 from 17 in the league and beating Bayern at the weekend.

He piqued my interest from what he'd done at youth and reserve level and it was typical that a club like Leverkusen were the ones to take a calculated chance on such a class act as a player and now seemingly as a coach.

Early days still, but he looks like he's going to be the real deal.

Is Conte wrong in what he's saying? He's genuine. He's passionate. I didn't want to say it but there you are, the guy is polically incorrect and I like him.

The blokes an absolute idiot and is the complete opposite of the kind of manager you’d want for a rebuild. Politically incorrect slipped in there for good measure too, good grief

Say the same things as Rodgers, it's the players, we don't spend enough, it's the owner.

But because he says it in an angry manner, people see it as passion lol

Out of all the names mentioned he has risen in my estimation.  I liked him as a player as well, and wasn't aware he had taken Leverkusen so far up the table, definitely one to take interest in, and we would be the perfect club, for him to break into the Prem, provided we are still here next season. Number one on the list for me and realistic.

Can see him going Man City when Pep goes.

Pep's not leaving City for another year at least, Haalands got a clause in his contract which activates a release clause should Pep leave this summer.

He’ll get another job before then and do well. Can see him being in the running by the time Pep decides to go.

Pep surely retires after Manchester City?

.. I  wouldn’t think so!!!

Like boxers it is very much in the blood, and they believe they can do things better. He has not landed the Champions League now in two countries,  he may want to right one of those wrongs and try again.

This may have been mentioned before but is there any validity in giving Viera another chance?

...no!!!

If a manager with the talent he has at his disposal chooses to come to the KP and play for a draw from the first whistle, you know he is not cut out to be a good manager. How poor do we have to be, for him to have the belief that he could win the game.

Postecoglou if we survive?

Already rebuilt one Club that Rodgers burnt to the ground. He's got good links to the Asia market too, of which, I'm sure the Club would be more than willing to take advantage of. I was impressed by how they took the game to Leipzig, rather than play how we do. He seems the complete opposite of Rodgers, is willing to take the game to better European opponents, and not suffering from some kind of 'Inferiority complex' or making excuses.
