Good lord, if this is the standard we can expect we really might piss the league. Plymouth and Huddersfield both look bloody awful! Mumba looks good though.

Clearly not the best game to base things on given one's a team that just scraped safety and the other was promoted from the league below but watching the highlights of the Plymouth v Huddersfield game really shows the gulf in quality between the Champ and Prem. Some of the chances missed were shocking.

What are the odds for being unbeaten in this league throughout the season?..

You cannot go unbeaten in this league. I’d say it’s close to impossible.

Saw this on Reddit. What good ones can we think of to put on here?

This is gold. And I think you just nominated yourself to keep updating and reposting it 😁

VAR would have spotted that

Maresca out poll before end of August

Tielemans looks lighter

Murphy/Jenas were not so bad after all

Good start for @Super_horns

Yes - hopefully something to build on.

Plymouth next week who will be better but even they gifted a lot of chances it seemed today.

QPR didn’t seem to get stuck in and press us .

TBH it’s pretty average .

We were rubbish last season but still only finished 6 points off the play offs despite only winning 3 of our last 17 games !

If it comes up, I'll pay you the money myself.

Really hope the team goes out with a different mentality to the fans. Half seem to think all we have to do is turn up and we've pissed it, the other half don't see us getting a win. Truth is probably somewhere in between. We've lost our top goalscorer from last year and also madders creativity. Despite youri being a lazy sod last year he was still a quality footballer. I do wonder where the goals will come from. If we have the right attitude we should still have the quality to be there or thereabouts. If we are arrogant  we will come unstuck. Teams will work hard in this division and we will be a major scalp for a lot of them. On paper we have the edge but ghe game is played on grass.

There could be a lot of people with egg on their face in a few months time with some of the comments on here.

You know we're in this league because we were utterly shite last season and totally deserve to be here?

It's probably the same people who around January said "Forest and Bournemouth are gone, we'll be fine" lol

Where's "Bring back Brendan"?

About as likely as Wolves fans admitting to being an agent’s plaything

Likewise those who are completely writing us off before we have kicked a ball.
