Muzzy_no7 Posted 21 June 2023 Posted 21 June 2023 If we are going to be playing a back 3 then yes. Otherwise, no.
winteriscoming Posted 21 June 2023 Posted 21 June 2023 I can see him staying in the prem. Someone like Forest or Palace will get him.

Pliskin Posted 21 June 2023 Posted 21 June 2023 Yes from me, they can sack Evans off whilst they’re at it. 2
Simonb Posted 21 June 2023 Posted 21 June 2023 Coady in and Evans out would be great business. Appreciate the service from Evans when he's been fit, but he's stolen an income for the past 2 years and we can't carry it on 3
Clever Fox Posted 21 June 2023 Posted 21 June 2023 Yes he's definitely a better option than resigning Evans.
st albans fox Posted 21 June 2023 Posted 21 June 2023 @The Bear is the word that Collins going to Brentford means you keeping coady, true ?
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 21 June 2023 Posted 21 June 2023 Hope he's better than that Ryan Bennett character that Brendan bought in from Wolves
SheppyFox Posted 21 June 2023 Posted 21 June 2023 Absolutely. Couple quality signings and we’ll be immediately promoted. A lot of our team has already dominated this league for other teams too.

If Brentford want to give us £25m for Collins then we'll take it. Think Lopetegui wants as much funds as possible to buy his own players. If you give us £5-10m for Coady (his purchase clause at Everton was £4.5m) then he'll probably go too. We play a back four now and I don't think he's trusted in that because of his pace, albeit he won't be honking or anything. He'd be perfect for you tbh as he's cheap and is a brilliant guy to have in the dressing room to pick them all up after relegation. Edited 21 June 2023 by The Bear 3

Social media suggests a fair number of Everton fans are disappointed he was dropped by Dyche and Everton aren't signing him on a permanent deal.... Apparently Bruno Lage (the ****) told him he wasn't going to play and he could leave, so Coady looked for a move away to make sure he stayed in and around the England squad. 1
baldeagle Posted 21 June 2023 Posted 21 June 2023 No chance he’s coming here, he’s an actual defender that can defend and puts his body on the line . We only sign wet blanket defenders .

dannythefox Posted 21 June 2023 Posted 21 June 2023 I’d love Cody bring him straight in and make him Captain, KDH vice.
MalletFox Posted 21 June 2023 Posted 21 June 2023 Said it before, he’s exactly the type of character we lacked last season. A true leader and professional from what I’ve seen and heard from him. Be exactly what we need next season (probably straight in as captain too). 1

Has there ever been a more “sure thing”? If Everton don’t want him, then he’s good enough for me! They haven’t made a good signing in about 40 years! 1

sheffield_fox Posted 21 June 2023 Posted 21 June 2023 Always rated him. Would be super happy with this signing.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 22 June 2023 Posted 22 June 2023 It’s a yes from me on the basis it means Evans goes. Don’t want both Evans and Coady personally.
glebe_sydneyfox Posted 22 June 2023 Posted 22 June 2023 4.5-5mil for Coady is tidy business for us. 1

grth2004 Posted 22 June 2023 Posted 22 June 2023 Would love Coady here, he’s had a weird career lately though going from England squad to possible championship side, I hope he’s in the mood to rebuild his worth with us. He seems like a great character and always admired him playing just don’t understand his slow demise.
