Yeah he was at the start of the season. In my own words he's also improved his decision making alot. He doesn't hold on to the ball and run into trouble so consistently anymore.

Funnily enough, it's OK to critique a player and acknowledge their growth. Who knew?!

I actually preferred KDH doing that, dribbling is really dangerous to defenders, as if often forces them into a foul or letting the player through.  He got a few goals from it if I remember right as well.

Turned on the SHU - Brighton prematch to see if there was any noise about a KDH transfer.  Nothing

Top wrote off 194m of our debt to King Power last February

I think that shows his still committed don't you.

Thats last February and may have been approved by his mother under all sorts of conditions (such as its the last of it), it isnt relevant to further funding issues.

So no I dont agree.

It isnt about Top, its about whoever is in charge of that family.  But Top himself, even if we forget about finances the decisions made in the past couple of years have been shockingly bad.

Sometimes. But so many times he'd pick the ball up and run into 4 players and lose it when there were easy passes on. It was so infuriating. But he's done really well to eradicate it.

With KDH we will be promoted, without him we risk it plus all the money that easily eclipses 30 mill. Selling him to a club for anything less than 50m who are well known to have cash due pulling others’ pants down over transfers is embarrassing, robbery & bonkers. **** it quote them 70.

Let's be honest any club who took this alternative view would be Everton levels of batsh1t crazy.

You can lose any player to injury or simply loss of form at any point and then you're left with a points deduction and the same problem.

I wasn’t suggesting it as a route or condoning it normally. It was more the point that he’s likely worth more point in favour for us than a deduction to highlight his importance to us.

True, and I appreciate you are talking here in the context of a points deduction but in terms of the injury point, the same can be said for selling KDH and replacing him with someone who could just get injured on their debut!

As I say, I was and am not advocating we should do anything to risk breaking rules and incurring deductions. I don’t like how people throw shit from 20 years back at us (well Forest and Cov fans anyway). I would rather we try and keep our noses clean and live within our means (as much as you can in football).

Basically, there’s no point selling him if it’s just to make room to buy as he’s so key. If we are so up shit creek we would risk a deduction if we don’t sell him, the club is an utter mess and may as well give up and go home!

Fair enough, I do think though everyone has a price, particularly home grown with a sale being pure upside FFP wise.  It depends whether the scouting team/Enzo/club whatever think we can get a replacement or two in for less money.  That said, selling him a the end of the Jan transfer window would also be batsh1t crazy unless there are replacements lined up.

I just can't see it happening unless he's really unhappy and pushing for a move.

Any Evidence or sources to back this up?

Q: Talks with Brighton over Dewsbury-Hall. Anything you can say?

EM: "The reason why he was not in squad is because we gave him, Harry Winks and Jannik a rest for Tuesday’s game."

Q: Are you confident the club won't sell him?

EM: "This is a question for the club not for me."

Q: Spoken to the club about it?

EM: “We talked about the transfer window for sure, but it’s not a question for me. At the end, we need some balance. We’ll see. Anyway, I’m not saying anything because Kiernan is our player. In the moment that something happens, I will tell my thoughts about it.”

Q: Surely you must be desperate to keep him?

EM: "I said yesterday, I am happy with the squad we have."

If there's any truth in this then it would mean Brighton's transfer policy has changed on this deal. Buy for £30m (and likely sell-on clause) won't return much of a profit. I think it's all bollox.

Good chance in a couple of years he would be worth double so no bollox.

Sounds ominous. Fortunately there’s not long left so I can’t see it happening.

No surprise Enzo would like 1 or 2 in.  Suspect Sensi will be the only business we do tho.

Oof. Sounds like it's a possibility at least

It’s a no from me. KDH is a key player for us. We would need a replacement who may not settle. Promotion is just round the corner. We would be mad to entertain a sale at this

point.

Wouldnt surprise me if Enzo leaked to Fabrizio to put pressure to get the club to sign his player, and now it might be backfiring, as the club cant do something as simple like up king power sponsorship by a couple of million to pay for it.

In typical Whelan fashion I can see us selling KDH deadline day and lose our target because someone nipped in whilst we were fumbling looking down the sofa.

I don't believe we can't afford 2m

I do. We've skirted FFP real close and the PL clearly aren't ****ing about with it anymore.

And just to add, are people really trying to use this to attack Rudkin with?

We don't need this. There's more than enough. He's a fraud.
