Hope that decision is made based around where we are end of next month. If we win 6 in a row and are 16 points ahead of 3rd - he goes for it. If we are even in the same place we are now then its a second team and we play damage limitation or try to shit house it.

One off games arent a test of where we are, especially when our fixture list is rammed around it.

Yeah I'd agree, if we're down to the bare bones and really need to give ourselves the best chance of winning the league games, then promotion is the priority.

It'd be a very poor run of form and injury crisis that'd lead us to that point though I think.

Why are people winging? This would be an ideal yeast for us to try and see where we are at.

Because seeing how our U21 squad handles Bournemouth's second string will be really enlightening

If we play anything resembling the teams in the last 2 rounds and try to play the way we currently do, they could genuinely put 5 or 6 past us in the first half.

Hope he takes it seriously or it really is a wasted opportunity to see the style up against the type of team we'll need to be competitive against if we want to stay up. We learn nothing if he plays the back ups.

Can't blame him for giving the likes of KDH, Winks, Mavididi, Faes and Vesterguard a rest this weekend.

Squad has been pretty stretched since the start of Afcon, Asian games, injuries and suspensions, add Daka, Souttar, Nacho, Ndidi, Fatawu back into the squad things are different, Sensi if that happens also give us more options.

Millwall and Birmingham put out pretty strong 11s.

I think you will also see Bournemouth rotating their side.

Yeast and winging go hand in hand to be fair 😳

They went pretty much full strength against Swansea and we're their only mid week game for ages. Pretty safe in the league and a chance to get into the quarter finals. Would be a weird move from Iraola.

I fancy us at Bournemouth we can easily beat these buggers !!

Seriously good side at the moment. Compounded by it being a bad trip for away support mid week

Yeah crap that. Would have fancied us at home.

Agreed. About as bad a draw as we could’ve got. They’ll beat us whatever team we pick & I doubt we’ll learn anything about where we are.

Or not!

Hmmm, hard to know what to read into this fixture other than it being a test : depending on the two sort of teams fielded on the day obviously. Not won there since our last time in the Championship when we won the title ten years ago and only beat them twice in the Prem, both in different seasons in 2019 during Rodgers' early tenure....

I don’t know.. 6 games until this fixture and 12 left after it. Could be virtually there by the time we play it and have a real good go.

He made 5 changes from the PL game against Liverpool.

So it was a bit mix and match, no Neto, Billings etc.
