Am I tripping or did RVN not apply for the Coventry job already? Surely we should be aiming a bit higher than someone who wants to manage those dossers

I’m hoping the board have done or will do their due diligence in choosing the next Coty manager rather than putting crap names in a hat and choosing the first name they pull out ?

I’m hoping for RVN or Potter even Mancini to take the job !

Honestly don't think we can do worse than Cooper.

We're that desperate, I'll get behind anyone with a pulse.

we have these posts every time until reality steps in and we get linked with jessie marsch and dean smith

They couldn't do a great job on the name on the front of shirts..........so i wouldn't hold your breath.

Anyone else get the feeling that we’ve not sacked managers for a lot more than we’ve sacked Cooper for…

Agree but I think they knew it was inevitable

It’s not about what he’s done, it’s about the fact it was only going to get worse

You can only hope that terminating these management contracts isn't going to cost an astronomical amount. Can't imagine that he was on the biggest salary given the circumstances. Certainly not Rodgers levels.

But those other managers had achieved success

The board I think have got Potter finally, perhaps during the international break they were working get him finally before Saturday they got the nod from Potter he'd accept. For the board though, it was all about that next defeat then pull the trigger. We lost so there got a reason to sack Cooper. Tuesday an announced will be made.

Seen Moyesy is quite popular on here. If we are going down the old school route then there’s a few others that surely need to be considered….

Mancini would be hands down be out of this world if we could get him in. Surely he wants a return to club management? Though he has plenty of money to just do his own thing and chill.

Wouldn't be wise to go with someone whose involvement with Man City is currently under investigation.
