This rumour is clearly nonsense so I wouldn't worry about it.

 

That said, if we're spending millions on a player in January it's to try and save our Premier League status, probably not the time to gamble on a kid.

I'm not really sure what people see in him. Is he really better than Vardy or Daka? If not, 12m would be better spent on a defender or a winger.

Maybe a little future planning going on here, Lathe and Cannon would give you two good Championship strikers.

 

If we go down, we sale Daka and probably don't renew Vardys contract.

I do like signing players from the championship as they tend to make the step up far easier than players from international leagues. I just don’t think there’s a stand out championship player right now that I’d be desperate for. The winger at watford could

ve a good move though

I can give you three from a long time ago, Mahrez to City, Maddison from Norwich, Rodgers from Celtic. Ayew and Edouard last summer. He was the first to all. He’s a bit hit and miss but he’s not the useless source some on here make him out to be.

Looked good and thought he could be a good option in the summer from what I saw of him last season....

 

I have not watched anything from the championship this season to see if the 2-3 games i saw last year were just that 2-3 good games.

Ayew and Edouard correct but I don’t recall the other three although may be wrong.

It’s such a stupid thing to say isn’t it. And he won’t be perfect, he’s 26? No sell on value there, and I really don’t think he’s that good.
