Brilliant, overwhelmed with excitement already

Either Summer 24 window revisited or Steve Walsh type scouting, I genuinely have no clue which one.

As I know nothing about this guy.

But in the absence of any other purchases he better be Leo Messi at his prime to keep us up.

I am actually excited to see someone play with power and pace and drive us up that right wing. I can't wait to see him. After the Cp result we need aggression in the team and he will help along with a dominant CB. Ndidi  back will help too.

I'm praying that he comes here and puts in a huge performance in his first match.

Sometimes a new player is exactly what is needed to raise the performance levels of the other players.

He could be like a prime Roberto Carlos, but he ain't going to be anywhere near enough to stop this shower conceding goals, or keep us up!

4 and a half year deal! Probably spend at least 3 of them on loan in Italy.

More like 4, we’ll be trying to flog him by end of month.

1.9m fee.

5 year deal.

Less than 400K PSR transfer.

This is what football has become, magnified by our mismanagement by Rudkin and King Power.

Not asking "is he any good", just asking "will he make us get charged for breaking financial rules".

Thrilling.

He had a lot of possibilities to choose to go to and he believes in this Club and the direction it’s going. We’re delighted that he’s come in to help us and strengthen us.”

I couldn't give less of a fvck about this dude arriving TBH.

This is what the club is doing to the fanbase. Instilling pure apathy. We're all tired, boss.

Is it me or does this feel like we are trying to stop sinking ship with a bath plug. Not saying he's a bad player or anything but just feels like meh what's the point

It's more like a quiet signing to add squad depth rather than the big game changing signings we need to stand a chance.

Sadly this is probably the best we can do:plancque:

Hope he can play right wing in an 4 4 1 1 and replace FB to give more night to the midfield and cover for the defence. FB is good but a bit of a luxury player who does lose the ball so would be good to come on as a game changer.

Asked if he’d spoken to Maresca, van Nistelrooy said: “Yes, I called a couple of people to speak about him. We took a lot of time to get him, to talk to him and people around him and we’re happy that it came through today.”

Something both Nige and Walsh would do extensively before signing a player.

O'Neill was the master . Allegedly stalked Matt Elliott for six months before making a bid
