Part of me wants to stick 2 fingers up to the corrupt bastards at the PL and EFL and another part of me wants the clowns that run our club to be shown up for the jokers they are!

On the one hand we've been very poorly run and any club that spends £20m on Skipp should be given an immediate points deduction and a transfer embargo.

On the other hand, these corrupt rules are there to help the "big 6", not to help stop clubs going under which is they what they say they try to do.

The fact they have been hounding us for 3-4 years is also a poor look. They have been absolutely desperate to shaft us and whilst some of it is justified (not denying we've been terribly run and wasted hideous amounts of money), there is another part of me that sees it as them putting us back in our box because we dared threaten the "big 6".

I know you are pi55ed off, but thats just a stupid comment. Many clubs have spent too much on certain players, and Skipp (although nowhere near good enough) is on a long amortised deal. Heck, he's 'only' cost a bit more than certain players who have barely played for us (looking at you Souttar). We could still break even if we manage to offload him (we somehow got > £11mil for Kasey!!).

Unless you are advocating points deductions and transfer embargos for any club what gets a signing wrong?

Isn't this the third case in the last 15 months? Dread to think how much it has cost is in legal fees.

Not just us, think how much the league has spent

Nothing compared to agent fees and players salaries.

Nick De Marco will sort it out.

Surely, if the PL and EFL had to change the rules to charge us, just on that fact, Nick De Marco, will rip another one!

That's exactly what I was thinking. No respectable court would hold up a charge if you change the rules after the offence took place.

I hear you

I hope they crucify us

Maybe then we’ll get the complete reset we so desperately need. Possibly with the mindset of half our fans too

Clearly a symbolic comment, based around the amount we has pissed away in transfer fees and wages on players not worth a fraction of it. He obviously wasn’t advocating a points deduction and embargo for that deal!

The fact this is going to court makes it sound as though they have more of a case than they did last time around?

Not necessarily… it means there will there will be a fairer process potentially. It’s all on the balance of probability that we’re guilty. So in essence they’ve probably got less of a case…..

The Skipp part was tongue in cheek, however the decision making and money wasted at the club is genuinely disgusting!

Makes me think the announcement the other day was done to get some positivity before this inevitable negative news.

Also will we be the only club to get a PSR sanction that didn’t benefit from it as such? In so much as that we managed to spend loads but got worse 🤣

Reminds me of a reply I posted on youtube to a Bournemouth transfer video - it's possible to sell your best players and improve? :O :P

I think the charge of not submitting on time is the worst of the lot and flies completely under the radar. Genuinely just incompetence with absolutely no one else to try and shift blame onto.

It's hugely embarrassing, but if it's anything more than a fine that is just as embarrassing.

It'll probably be a suspended points deduction.

You seriously think this will be the case considering how determined the EFL are to absolutely shaft us lol

It will be a points deduction, probably not as big as some outlets have reported (like the club supposedly believe) but we won’t avoid a proper punishment.

Strange comment from a ‘fan’. Why would you want your own club crucified?

It isn’t the EFL who determine the outcome, how are you not aware of this?

We absolutely deserve it?

The club do, the fans to a lesser extent have been complicit in it.

And the entire club is now dying for a reset we won’t otherwise get

What'll be worse, the points deduction we may get, or the transfer embargo that means we can't sign Jordan James for £4m next summer and he ends up going Cov and then sold to Chelsea for £50m 18 months later?

How have the fans been complicit in us overspending?

How will there be a reset? You think Top will sell up if we got hammered and relegated?

Go and buy a horse hair shirt.

What was the point in paying Nick De Marco to get us off the hook, when we barely made an effort to stay up?

Our summer window hardly smacked of ambition. May as well have taken the hit last season.
