He seems to focus on needling and trying to unsettle his marker first and foremost then amongst the ensuing chaos play his football. It’s just that so far he hasn’t managed to get beyond the “try to unsettle” bit and if anything has been unsettled back two-fold.

You do need an adjustment period, I just wonder if he’s showing anything of encouragement in training yet?

If he had been he would have surely been starting when the other options are Ayew and Dana.

He looks very lightweight so far. We need to see what he’s like when chances are being created, does anyone remember chances? I’ve got a radical idea, switch the wingers round every now and then. Maybe then a left footer may create a decent chance from the left and ditto the right. Nobody’s telling me that Fatawu isn’t getting past a right back and putting a cross that strikers like in this league. The wingers have to do it because our full backs can’t.

Only played 71 minutes so too early, but very unencouraging.

What I am quite sick of us doing though is giving very limited opportunities to new signings. They don't need to 'bed in' to a team that's failing. You're really not risking losing much.

I'd start him in the next three games and see how he does.

Agree with this. Same applies to the Youth.

Nelson and Page have both proven themselves - if players in their positions aren't performing, why not give then a proper go?

I don't buy this 'oh but their young' - time has moved on, football has moved on. Players this age can handle way more than we seem to give credit for.

Even Vardy struggled to perform to his maximum in this ridiculous lone striker system, so not shocked at all.

I'd normally hold judgement after an hour or so of playing time. But in this case it's absolutely clear that he's League 2 level at best. He can head a ball hard (not in any useful direction). That is it.

I know he's not match fit, but at one point he looked like he didn't want to compete for the ball. Looks shit but time will tell.

Looks scared shitless. I'm already hoping we can send him back in January.
