The mercurys journalistic, editing & proof reading skills being put to the test once again as the story for who replaces Ramsey for the Coventry game mentions the 🇦🇷 Carranza as ‘Mexican’ not only once but twice, maybe they were confused with his dual citizenship of 🇮🇹 and came up with 🇲🇽 😂

They have since corrected it but only the 1st instance and they have left the 2nd 🫣

Some decent touches and lay offs, moved well, got some power in his header. Definitely not 5’9”! Very early days but a promising debut and looks like he could be the 9 we need.

This guy’s so sexy that their player got a yellow card because he couldn’t keep his hands off him.

Soumare yet again not the problem today but still getting pelters lol

Be interesting to see what Carranza is like when he takes a touch rather than knocking the ball off first time and that’s not a criticism. Thought overall he looked smart enough.

off who?

All I said was to play James in his best position and Ayew is not a 9 and better suited as a 10, so one of Winks or Soumare needs to drop out.

How did he fair tonight?

Missed the game because of work (might have been a blessing), but saw he came on at halftime.

Didn’t really get much service. Got booked for diving. Went down to easily in the box once. Couple of wayward strikes.

Hard to say but looked like it was a bit of a welcome to the championship game. He’ll get stuck in but gave me Perez vibes.

In my opinion.... he hasn't got it.

He'll be decent at this level once he's settled in- need someone up top to make a nuisance of themselves.

What does worry me is that having an actual striker on the pitch didn't make us look any more balanced.
