Dramatic much??

He's strong, good in the air and can finish. But, I can accept when I'm wrong.

We can instead insist on playing Daka and Ayew.

didn’t we sign a young striker who can play up front?

Excellent is a reach

It is but he has been good, and let's be honest, that word can be used for 2 or 3 others at a stretch. Winks makes him so much worse for whatever reason, and there is no way you pick Winks over Skipp given what's at stake. Winks was absolutely shite until about 70 mins. Thankfully he scored a great goal and then played much better.

Sounds like coopers request to buy him for a fortune justification  pitch

Did that actually happen?

Great news. Looking forward to him and Mukasa linking up. When all fit, who drops out? Skipp and Winks both been playing pretty well last few games.

Play him as out false nine if it means I don't have to witness daka and co , stink the place up again

I think Daka is poor, and Ayew is absolutely useless. But thinking that playing Jordan James as a false 9 is going to be effective is absolutely bonkers.

JJ and Mukasa keep us up

Not without a defence. We will continue to leak goals with that back 4

We have to hope we get some players back from injury

If it's about shoehorning both into the lineup I'd sooner use Mukasa as the false nine.

Yeah, at the moment we need to score at least 3 goals a game to win.

I think it’s about playing players in the best positions. James did much better before injury from deeper and Mukasa looks excellent where he is playing. Daka for all his faults does seem to coincide with the team looking brighter and his missed header aside, his pressing and getting us up the pitch was good at Middlesbrough.

Probably best to go

           James - Skipp

Fatawu - Mukasa - LW (Mav/Monga/Reid)

                   Daka

Yes I totally agree but at least he can hit the target

There were many city fans saying that’s his best position :dunno:

I Would play 433 James, Skipp and Winks in a midfield 3, with Mukasa behind 2 from Fatawu, Mavadidi or Daka

Or a 422 box midfield Skipp, Winks as the deeper pair with James alongside Mukasa, but in both formations Skipp, Winks and James need to put a shift in defensively and help the full backs out wide.

Hope I'm wrong but wouldn't be one bit surprised if the bug of this club had got him and he wasn't anywhere near as effective upon return.

Fair play to him if he keeps up his form before his injury - was the biggest one horse race for player of the season I've ever seen in football.
