I don't hate the US team for that, I dislike Infantino and Trump as it's clearly sketchy regardless of how you feel about it being a red or not.

 

USA football is only going to keep growing just like it is in Canada.  I think  all 3 of our NA countries have differing strengths and weaknesses which tend to also hit us around these rounds (more so US/Mexico than Canada lol). We never get this far until now.

 

If Faes was on the team,  Belgium would have gone home  after the first round lol.

I actually think the best thing that can happen for the three North American countries is for them to move into the CONMEBOL confederation, or merge CONMEBOL and Concacaf.

This will mean the teams get to play high quality opposition and grow more regularly, play in the Copa America, got through qualifying against the best teams and be better prepared when the next World Cup comes around.

Anything that means we play Panama, Honduras and El Salvador less and I'm all for it! lol

What on Earth was Freese thinking before conceding the third? "I want some action"? Or "let me show you how it isn't done"? Proper brainfart, that.

Fourth one wasn't much better.

 

Lukaku's Belgium's super-sub, it seems.

 

Now against Spain, there's some history (literally).

The problem here is FIFA pathetically bending the rules for one man. Has it happened before? Would it happen again? *Trust* is the casualty here

Far too many daft Americans supporting the decision to over turn the red card online for me to have any sympathy for their fans. Shame to see them go out. All the best any way, enjoy the gold cup

Think majority of football fans around the world are happy to see the US knocked out. For once national team more disliked than England. The lack of respect the reporters have shown towards other nations in this tournament is unbelieveable.
