Isn’t Kieran Maguire a Florist fan and has always published both accurate and inaccurate figures, pretty much anything to belittle or inflate the trouble we are in?

I’ll get me tin hat and read that again !

No, he's a Brighton fan with no agenda.

Yes but as has been mentioned many times, he doesn't have all the facts of what is happening inside our club.

There's a lot of guesswork for clicks going on.

but will potential buyers just think, I’ll wait until it goes into administration regardless?  I don’t have to agree a purchase price and the debt suddenly shrink overnight

Cash flow wise we are a time bomb

If we're in admin we've lost players, staff and 12 points and perhpad dropped another division.

Very difficult to turn that round quickly if you're hoping to get the club back in the EPL as soon as possible.

It’s going to take time to get out of this division if king power doesn’t open the check book and we’ve got no money

Ask Sheffield Wednesday

Ours aren't any better just because we haven't had that outcome yet. In a lot of ways we are run even worse. Lot of their fans were commenting on the figures published for us saying even their situation didn't look that bad.

You know what, up to a point you can maybe excuse taking out loans against future transfers and premier league money when we were going well and relegation was just a huge surprise. It's still irresponsible but it's one of them where you can maybe forgive it if lessons are learned.

To spend as much as we did when we went up, and do it all with loans from a bank when we at that point knew how likely relegation was? I struggle to think of how you could run a club worse than that. It shows there's been no real competency for a long, long time.

Proper ostrich financial management

But do you want a club you can build your own or a club which is still at the threat of points deductions? I can think of Coventry for example where it’s been better for that upward shift has been better served having to build lower than treading water. Or Wednesday where the purchase only became a realistic possibility once the league were happy that debts were paid resulting in Chansiri getting naff all. Now they can rebuild properly

Maguire hasn’t guessed anyway. He’s only relaying what the accounts say and what the loan charge documents say. He’s not guessing 8% interest rate at the figures stated, that’s all in the documents anyone can view so the calculation regards £200k per week is accurate. The owed money is there in the accounts, and charges with the bank. He’s not said anything about the implication this has on the club or projected an opinion on that.

Folk are going to have to park the partisan nature towards the opinions towards us over the coming months. We owe money. And depressingly there’s going to be some decent businesses in the cross fire which there is no defence to

Didn’t someone say that Top will continue to provide funds to ensure we comply with the new finance rules for this year, which leads me to think we need to get promoted this season or else!!!!

Recent displays perhaps show that the kids may be enough to get us out on their own.
There will be loans.

Best case scenario for the next 10 years is getting promoted with mainly younger players, selling them off, getting a new competent owner and being a Stoke/Blackburn type club with a bit of deluded optimism we can become a Premier League team again one day.

That 8% interest rate is awful, probably says something about our credit worthiness!

It’s terrible, but I’d want more than 8.3% to lend LCFC / KP money. It’s actually quite competitive given our risk profile

New owner comes in…. And brings back Susan Whelan as Chairwoman?

Would be a brave and unusual move

To bring in a CEO that lost hundreds of millions spending more money than her business made, breaking every financial rule her competition rules she helped create (resulting in sporting penalties that she created)  and openly refusing commercial and ticket revenue streams.
