Rob Edwards is another one who seems to do better at talking in meaningless cliches on podcasts than he does at improving players or setting up teams. Would be a marginal improvement.

Lennon is crap but at least has the potential to be a bit of a rollercoaster and he is a genuine club legend. However I get the feeling he'd be a bit much for the majority of our stadium goers who seem to be 50 something, second-team-is-Rangers, reform voters from the shires.

Rob Edwards is available and plays the exact opposite to Russell Martin ball. Direct fast attacks uses a back 3 in different formations mainly but not opossed to a back 4 if needed. He also needs wingers and wing backs to make his play work and aggressive in transition.

Currently at Seville airport waiting for a flight home last time I was here I heard Claudio had got the sack, could it happen again, I very much doubt it with the current regime.

Carlos Coberan? might be out of reach now. But also seems like someone we wouldn't even think about.

The fact that he's totally out of reach would probably mean we're more likely to think we could get him tbf

True, Though that woul dmean we were actually thinking about sacking MArtin too.

Challinor would be the first pick but Rob Edwards is a huge upgrade on Russell Martin, anyone would be, but he is. He took Luton to the Premier league and would almost certainly have done the same with Middlesbrough if he didn't take the Wolves job. Nobody was going to keep Wolves up at the time he joined. We could do worse and have done. He is good at connecting with the fan base too which we need right now.

If he wins, then that's good. For all his failings, I still want my team to win. We want to stay in contention and if he goes on a run, he can stay for a bit more. Miracles do happen, as unlikely as they are.

Remember when we invited Maresca back last season and obviously we lost, I was going to say how bizarre that was but I guess it is probably par for the course under this ownership.

I personally think the new owner or relegation comes first. I don't think the club or top has the money to pay this idiot off.

Will a pay off push us over our spending limit and a PTS deduction?

In fact Rudkin's "we want to give him time to get it right"

Tells us all we need to know. Yet another gamble from the owner.

Just prolonging the shitness tbh course I want us to win but id rather us win and bin him off rather than him staying on for more games

Probably not since he's not our manager anymore...

Blows my mind that Martin is still here.

Blows my mind that people are expecting him to be sacked. Have you lot learnt nothing from the Top and Rudkin duo. It's only going to be worse with the potential sale and their absolute obsession with getting Martin in the first place.

I think Rob Edwards would be ok - Corberan would be good but unattainable probably. Lennon? Weird choice. Three very different managers really (I know we haven't been linked with Corberan). I do think the main problem is this style of football that the owners are wedded too, and the seemingly unsolvable, undiagnosable issues that exist within this club - there is something rotten - this group of players, and probably Martin as a manger tbh, should be able to do better than they are. There is something deeply, deeply wrong in the DNA of the club at the minute. Whether that stems from the Top (pun intended) or whether it's the culture, the facilities, the players (although you'd think given the complete overhaul it shouldn't be?), I don't think it gets magically fixed by changing manager, even if the manager in question is pretty terrible.

As already stated it’s pointless while these clowns are here.

Look at our recent history.
Enzo apart no one lasted longer than 6 months.
I don’t know any fans that actually wanted Martin while not my first choice but at least Fuchs would have got the majority on side.
Same imo with Challinor.
Those that say it can’t be any worse than Martin it clearly can.
Just look at Cooper, RVN, Cifuentes and Rowett.

It seems pointless even entertaining the thought of Challinor with these twats in charge but he’s exactly what we need.

Does that mean those clapping the team off every week are millennial, second-team-is-Forest Green Rovers, Green voters.

Absolutely ridiculous generalised nonsense.

Club legend that said “no one should leave Celtic for a club like that” when Rodgers joined us.

Can't see any manager/coach of note being interested in our basket case of a club, spiralling down the plughole, with potential new owners in the coming month's. Why risk your reputation and have this one on your CV?

Only a mercenary wanting a quick pay-off would take it on.

Grim.

I don't think Claudio is managing us at the minute mate.
