Went to see Infinity War.

 

Loved it.

 

The "Empire Strikes Back" of the Avengers films. It's really that good. Quite funny in parts and clever, too.

 

However...

 

While the film was on, a lass a few seats down from me, with her knees tucked up to have her feet up on the seat, got her phone out with one of those anchor things, so there was blue light in my peripheral vision.  I put up with it.

 

Then, still during the film, she started checking her phone.  After about the third  time, I start tutting, but said nothing out loud, and tried to watch the film.

 

Then it turns out she has one of those FVCKING STROBE ALARMS on her phone.  It went off three times.

 

On the third strobe alarm, I shouted over at her "Oi. Put that phone away, would you, please?"

 

The phone stayed away the rest of the film, but right at the end, still in the dark, whilst the rest of the room, still packed in, are all waiting for the post-credits bit, she gets her sodding phone out again.

That was it. Trying quite hard to keep it non-aggressive and refrain from using my usual potty mouth, I told her in a few ways she was a selfish person with no consideration for others.  

 

She looked offended.

 

My missus told me off for making a scene.  lol

 

What gets into these people? Do they know but just don't care? Did she think she was alone in the room?

 

I hate people. People are shits.

I took the kids to watch infinity war, my son is obsessed with marvel. I’ve not really watched most of the films so I’m not up to date with the stories but I was gripped. Brilliant film and will probably re invigorate me to watch films I’ve missed and new ones that follow.

Are all the marvel films run in the same timeline?

You don't need to watch any of the TV shows as they don't have much bearing on the cinematic universe

Watched Infinity War this evening, had that comics vibe and was awesome but now it is a long waiting game until Avengers 4, the end credits sequence was probably not really worth staying for but,........

Daredevil season 1, Jessica Jones season 1 and Luke Cage are all quite good although unnecessary to catch up on the MCU.

Agents of Shield probably the most, but you're right, certainly not essential. I only ever bothered with Shield and Agent Carter, which have been fun.
