Think the surprises will continue this season. Liverpool and Man Utd look utter dogger this season. Chelsea imploding. Arsenal classy but brittle. Tottenham basically poo. Power shift might be happening. Only Man City standing out really.

I think most of that will not be too far off the mark, though Man U I reckon will steadily start cementing a top 4 place and Chelsea will likely bounce back by Christmas.

lol gabby agbonlahor could be faster than a cheetah but he's still gabby agbonlahor so if he did burn us for pace he won't score

Oh well done sir. You just guaranteed Gabbie a goal. Some people.

hehehe when he broke through after five minutes and could have scored himself or set up sinclair for a tap in and did neither. oh me.

wow!!...theyre not keen on Sherwood are they..........................................makes this place look sane

Quite. Didn't realise how little love there is for Sherwood. Most of them seem to say there's a theme:

a. Villa take a lead

b. Opposition make tactical change

c. Sherwood fails to react in time

d. Opposition win

Having said that, Villa fans are even more fickle than the small minority of our nuttier fans. Today they were giving their team the big "olé" when 2-0 up, then 20 minutes later some of them were booing the very same players.

Most of them have a terrible layout so we've go a lot to be thankful for. Although I think most of the ads only show up if you're viewing as a guest.

FoxesTalk is right up there when it comes to layout, functionality, design, etc.

When it comes to football discussion, as much as some days it doesn't feel like it, we've actually got a fairly decent bunch of posters who are literate and can hold somewhat decent conversations.

There's plenty of football forums out there that are just awful. Awful design, awful posters.

Finally, a quick look at Leicester's backline compared to Aston Villa's frontline. Wes Morgan, slow. Jordan Ayew, quick. Robert Huth, slow. Scott Sinclair, quick. Marcin Wasilewski, the very slowest. Adama Traore, lightening quick. Obviously there's more to it than that, but it's worth noting for sure. One of the slowest defences in the division, against one of the quickest attacks.

Hahahahaha what an abomination of a post. Why don't they sign Usain Bolt whilst they're at it? What a clueless cvnt.

Hilarious watching them all turn on Sherwood. This is marvellous.

It seems as if he's basing his knowledge on the Fifa Ultimate team ratings where our defence is really slow but it reality they are (almost) always in the right place at the right time.

It’s fair to suggest that at the beginning of the season, hopes were not high for Claudio Ranieri’s return to the Premier League. Indeed, we ‘fessed up to being doubters a few weeks ago: we, like you, thought Leicester was getting a nice, avuncular man who would tinker endlessly, smile beatifically, and then lose to whichever team is the Premier League equivalent of the Faroe Islands. (Chelsea? Ho ho ho.)

We were wrong, obviously; we’ve covered this. But it’s slowly becoming apparent just how wrong we were. It’s not just that Leicester is second in the table and getting points out of their games. Nor is it that Ranieri’s men clearly have, as demonstrated by Sunday’s comeback, a fine team spirit and attitude. Nor is it even that Riyad Mahrez is clearly a god who got bored of nectar and ambrosia and came down to slum it among the mere mortals.

It’s that they’re all of the above but also the most fun team in the league. Probably. Possibly? Okay, fine, we’ll agree to settle for the most fun team in the league this weekend and carry on, okay? There’s no pleasing some people.

There’s Mahrez, obviously, but there’s also Jeffrey Schlupp gambolling his way down the wing, Wes Morgan clanking around at the back, and the introduction of the frankly adorable Nathan Dyer has only made things better. Even the strange cocktail of pace, gristle and snarl that is England’s Jamie Vardy is diverting to watch — sprinting here, flinging himself to the floor there — so long as he’s not discussing racial politics. And beyond the players, there’s a commitment to adventurous play, to direct running, to plundering the space. Yes, they were chasing the game for most of Sunday afternoon, and yes, they were playing Tim Sherwood’s Aston Villa, and yes, they’ve had a relatively easy run of fixtures, but still.

All of which is great for Leicester fans and casual Leicester observers, of course, but slightly embarrassing for the Premier League’s aristocracy. There’s no actual requirement for big teams to entertain loyal season ticket purchasers, but it’s certainly something they should be aiming for, if only because taking up all that space and making all that noise and then delivering up the sterile control of Manchester United, or the lifeless witlessness of Liverpool, or the incoherent impotence of Arsenal, or the chaotic incompetence of Chelsea, or whatever Tottenham think they’re up to … well, it’s borderline criminal.

We’ll let City off, since they’re at least scoring goals, but the rest of them are being shown up by a genial journeyman and a midfield containing Danny Drinkwater. Leicester probably isn’t going to finish in the top four, and might well collapse in a heap once the big games come around, but for now, Leicester is making its supposed betters look like a bunch of miserable chancers. Which is all you can reasonably ask.

To be honest I had reservations over Ranieri but their reasoning is embarrassing. They go on like Greece are the only team he's ever managed before us.
