kingfox Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 This rumour has resurfaced, linked in the Daily Mirror & Star.
Max Power Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Sounds like a nonsense re-hashed story but I'd be happy with this. The only outright weak link in the side for me.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Not before we get a first team quality replacement. Bakayogo obviously ain't good enough even as cover for Schlupp.
Webbo Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 He signed a new contract this year didn't he? Couldn't let him leave unless we had a replacement anyway.
Fox92 Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 I do think we need a new left full back. However, we cannot let Konchesky go without getting a replacement because I'd hate the thought of Schlupp and Bakayogo as our only two left full backs.
sylofox Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 10m they can have him. Teach them to play fvckin hard ball with us. Sell him we need two left backs and that won't happen.
Manwell Pablo Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 10m they can have him. Teach them to play fvckin hard ball with us. Sell him we need two left backs and that won't happen. About to say exactly that myself.
ousefox Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 I still think he's very underrated here. Didn't seem to have a problem at all when we played Man City.
filbertway Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 If he goes that means we're lining up a replacement so yes please. The longer we go without signing a left back, the more I'm expecting us to draft in someone on loan.
Babylon Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 I still think he's very underrated here. Didn't seem to have a problem at all when we played Man City. Defensively I don't mind him at all, it's his distribution that tends to cause us no end of problems as he ends up presenting the oppo' the ball in dangerous places.
Finnaldo Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Nah , you're alright thanks. Don't be that way, besides, as you gave us Ulloa you get a discounted price of £3.5 million
sylofox Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Nah , you're alright thanks. you are joking he would be your best player. As we have had your best players from last season.
dannythefox Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Hopefully he'll leave I'm really not bothered about him.
............... Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Don't understand people's attitude to Konchesky. A steady player who's played at this level before.
Finnaldo Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Slightly too steady for me. Seems like he may be deteriorating a bit.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Please let him end up Brighton. He is a liability, and his distribution will cost us in the Premiership.
lgfualol Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Dont mind if he leaves. I doubt it would happen, even if we get a replacement.
Corky Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Nah , you're alright thanks. He'd be good for you, his distribution can be wayward but defensively he's solid enough for a team like Brighton. Plus he's been part of a play-off and then title winning team, used to winning games in recent years and that experience could be useful.
Brooksy Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 His experience could be vital for us next season, keep him.
