DangerFox Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 To be Andy King now! Superb! Obviously as you all know, he could be the winner of Premier League as well as the Championship and League 1. Would he be tempted to drop down to League 2 for the full house in his later years?

Stevosevic Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Absolutely buzzing for this man. Club legend, he's been there through it all with us and everytime he plays he does his job and is 100% committed to the cause. People like Kingy in every successful squad are priceless.
Haydos Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 If we bring home the title, seeing Kingy lift it will be what breaks me.
Clever Fox Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 A truly great Leicester player. I'm sure he'll get a couple of Games before it's over.
BrummieFOX Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 If we bring home the title, seeing Kingy lift it will be what breaks me. Yep. When he came over to our end at Sunderland nearly did me.
Stevosevic Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Should City pick up the three points they need to guarantee a first-ever Premier League title as well he will be the first player to have won all three titles with the same club, and King will surely be included in the list of City legends. From the LM
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Has anyone ever won all 4 league titles before? Not sure anyone has ever won the top 3.
Voll Blau Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Should City pick up the three points they need to guarantee a first-ever Premier League title as well he will be the first player to have won all three titles with the same club, and King will surely be included in the list of City legends. Were there not Ipswich players in the 50s/60s who managed it?

He already is
mancunianfox Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Were there not Ipswich players in the 50s/60s who managed it? Yes, but to be fair to the article it does mention the premier league specifically. For those who want to consider Division 1 and the Premier as seperate entities I suppose.
shen Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 I'm hoping, if it's all sewn up after Everton, that King gets a start against his boyhood club on the final day. On the pitch, he's the anti-thesis of a selfish primadonna. He's the ultimate team player, never once sulked and has stayed loyal throughout his career. Traits like this is what helps create a genuine connection between players and fans.
Voll Blau Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Yes, but to be fair to the article it does mention the premier league specifically. For those who want to consider Division 1 and the Premier as seperate entities I suppose. Not me then. Still an incredible achievement in this day and age, fairly unlikely to be repeated again if it happens.
foxy boxing Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 So pleased for kingy has been a loyal servant for City for many years, never throws his toys out the pram when he isn't playing and always does his best for us
Lionheart10 Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 I reckon he has earned the right to be called "one of our own".
The Doctor Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Were there not Ipswich players in the 50s/60s who managed it? Sort of - the third and fourth tiers were still regional back then, so it's whether you consider league one and division three north + division three south to be the same league under a different moniker.
ScouseFox Posted 1 May 2016 Author Posted 1 May 2016 drinkwater got sent off on purpose today because he knew it was the right thing to do. andy king is winning us the league next week.
Fox 4 Life Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Would much rather he was replacing drinks than Kante. Kingy to run the show vs everton
STUHILL Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 WIll miss Drinky but will be a great chance for King to get in on the action and his passing through to a fresh Vardy could be awesome. King 95th min winner...
weller54 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 The perfect script for Kingy to score the winner!.. You couldn't make this season up.
