Big_Nige Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 The Sunday supplement team openly said they disliked Nige at the weekend. The feeling is obviously mutual. Not sure which side started it mind. I can normally watch anything football related on TV, but the Sunday supplement is the biggest wankfest of overbearing smug self indulgent nonsense. I cannot stand it. No suprise they dislike Nigel.
MC Prussian Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Says a lot about the mentality of city fans that find this in any way legendary. Jose Sir Alex etc would rant but never this erratically, it lacks class and its just embarrassing Sir Alex never ranted when he was about the same age as Pearson? Not even during his Scotland years? Have a word. Besides, the media hype and attention is ever-increasing, you're basically free game to shoot for rags and other yellow press outlets.
RowlattsFox Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Jose won't like this because no one is talking about Chelsea today.
Vacamion Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 He was slurring the ends of words in a way that he doesn't usually. Sad to say it, but he appeared drunk.
Collymore Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Lee from leicester on talk sport just now said Nigel is a bully and he's also been bullying stringer. I think lee's head has been in then sand.
Vossen Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 He's been boozing on the sly...red face, slow blinking & trying hard to act sober...deffo a secret boozer...

tickler28 Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Why why why....there simply is no need for this. We've been playing well have turned things around and people have been heaping praise on us and then out of the blue Pearson picks on a journalist?!?! I was just starting to think Pearson had turned a corner and learnt his lesson concentrated on the football and then this. I'm a great believer in karma and unless Pearson apoligises then I think results are going to turn again....just saying before I get a backlash
tickler28 Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Just to add....if I'm right all the journalist wanted to know was what criticism Leicester players had received....fair question.....the answer is not a lot....the criticism has been aimed at Pearson. Journalist didn't deserve the backlash....Pearson seems quite happy to pick on the weak
Larry_LCFC Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 The bottom line is, it was a perfectly reasonable question by the journalist. I haven't seen much criticism in the press of the players this season and the journo was simply clarifying what specifically he wasn't happy with. Whilst it is funny in an utterly bizzare sense, it is also quite embarrassing. He comes across as a cvnt pure and simple which in turn makes the club look crap. He needs to wind it in big time.
Strokes Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 There's a few names in this thread that haven't been around for a few weeks, aren't there any vacant rocks about?
SpacedX Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 He was slurring the ends of words in a way that he doesn't usually. Sad to say it, but he appeared drunk. Drunk with power
foxer Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Ultimately if we win on Saturday and eventually stay up then who gives a toss? I certainly don't. Yeah it was a bit weird, but nige comes across as a bit weird in interviews - we've learnt that already, surely? In a non interview scenario he's a top man.
Livid Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Does he have to do the post match press conference? Could we not send Shakespeare out instead?
tickler28 Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Reporter didn't deserve the level of backlash and in order to maintain our dignity as a football club and continue this good run with a positive vibe around the club Pearson needs to offer a personal apology to this journalist because his outburst was uncalled for. A bunch of flowers picture for the media with smiles and a warm embrace should do it then we can go on and stuff Newcastle with a clear conscience!!
shailen Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Maybe we change the mascots to ostriches from now on. Filbert the ostrich.
Captain... Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 3 possible reactions to this. 1. The players think what the fvck the manager has lost it 2. The players see the manager has their backs will support and defend them and deflect attention from them. 3. The players don't even react and carry on as before 1. Seems unlikely seeing as all of his other rants and bizarre behaviour has pulled the players together at the right time 2. They already know this 3. Is the most likely option The thing is if the manager wants to deflect the attention from his players then he didn't need to do this, all the headlines are on Chelsea all but winning the title, not us losing, the only benefit is to befuddle the opposing managers who think that Nige is losing the plot.

tickler28 Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Call me stupid Silly or an Ostrich but did anyone not get told that Bullies get their come uppance....Pearson suffers....we all suffer!!! You need to apologise, you fvcking ostrich! F### off and die
BigMicky Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Call me stupid Silly or an Ostrich but did anyone not get told that Bullies get their come uppance....Pearson suffers....we all suffer!!! Here we go again, how has he "bullied" the journo? Have you ever read any of the journalists articles?
CosbehFox Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Loads of them moaning. Along the lines of "ooh look at this nasty man and what he's said". Despite then day after day sensationalising stories, making characters of people and generally point scoring in a bid to get their name about.

Alf Bentley Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Pearson needs to arrange for the journalist to spend a day in the ostrich enclosure at Twycross Zoo. All smiles and pecks on the cheeks - and we move on. Things are as they are.
Babylon Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Anyone mentioning bullying has got to be the one of the biggest wet blankets around. How do you get through life if you think that's bullying.
