lgfualol Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 What on earth is the state of Arsenal/Liverpool's fitness/medical team to have so many injuries constantly. Looks like Liverpool will be playing an u21 team soon.
ScouseFox Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 newcastle bidding 18m for lacazette, they are such trolls

My favourite still has to be Pearsons ostrich hunt: http://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/pearson-privately-still-convinced-reporter-ostrich#:tZELzBfND3dOpA A friend of Pearson's told FourFourTwo: "Blue Eyes [Pearson] keeps saying things like 'He must be at least two-and-a-half metres tall with his neck fully extended', and 'I bet those legs can cover five metres in a single stride'. He's going to get the season over and done with, and then he's going to clear up this ostrich thing once and for all." Explains his departure last summer.
Dan Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 newcastle bidding 18m for lacazette, they are such trolls I'd love to know why considering they're obviously going to use him sparingly whilst Papiss Cisse remains an ever present.
lestajigs Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Am I right in thinking, that if the league cup final it man city v Liverpool, and Liverpool finish 5th the Europa league goes down to 6th league finish?
Stevosevic Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Am I right in thinking, that if the league cup final it man city v Liverpool, and Liverpool finish 5th the Europa league goes down to 6th league finish? Current Europa league spots are 5th, LC winners and FA Cup winners. So if one of the cup winners is already in europe through league position, then 6th will receive a europa league spot. If both of the cup winners are already in europe through league position, then 7th will receive a europa league spot.
EnderbyFox Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Norwich have had a 15M euro bid rejected for Koulibaly at Napoli
filbertway Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Am I right in thinking, that if the league cup final it man city v Liverpool, and Liverpool finish 5th the Europa league goes down to 6th league finish? Yup, or if Man City win the cup, 6th will get their europa spot.
ScouseFox Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 norwich ffs this is too far stop the game now lets start again

What I'd like to know though - why did Hull get a Europa League spot after losing to Arsenal in the 2014 FA Cup final, but Aston Villa didn't despite doing the same in 2015? Does it have anything to do with Arsenal finishing 4th in 2013/14 and 3rd in 2014/15?
Fox92 Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Isn't money ridiculous nowadays. A club like Norwich have the ability to bid £15million.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 They stopped the finalist making Europe if the winners qualify anyway through league. So if a top six team wins a cup the sixth placed and seventh get a Europa league spot
lestajigs Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Yup, or if Man City win the cup, 6th will get their europa spot. I thought it went to the runner up not 6th?

EverybodyDannsNow Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Isn't money ridiculous nowadays. A club like Norwich have the ability to bid £15million. I think it's a good thing. The Premier League is beginning to even out. Teams like Norwich and Watford can now compete with Man United and Liverpool, which in turn keeps the league unpredictable and exciting.
MC Prussian Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Liverpool confirm Grujic deal: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/35244115 £5.1m for a 19-year old? Makes our £3.75m deal for Gray look somewhat reasonable business.

I saw a comparison being made with american sports and a much more even playing field that returns more clubs winning things, hope this is the case.
