Leicesterpool Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Sadly? Peter Crouch? In 2016? Sorry I should have said "don't think he'll be considered" must have been tired last night.
MC Prussian Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Anybody mentioned the latest news yet that the club allegedly wants to double his money? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/leicester-offer-jamie-vardy-new-7070748 I'll take that news with a large pinch of salt. It's the Mirror, anyway.
fuchsntf Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 "But your arm's come off" "TIS BUT A SCRATCH!" OK, OK, but I had been drinking and taking medicine, quoting from memory. Tis but a slip of thought. You will most likely stay being a boring pedantic, me..I am now sober, slipping pills like maltezers and enjoying the antics of my fellow man...
Richard Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 A couple of different people have told me that Vardys booked in for an operation after the Bournemouth game. Anyone else heard anything?Would make sense as there's a big gap between league fixtures
VLC86 Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 A couple of different people have told me that Vardys booked in for an operation after the Bournemouth game. Anyone else heard anything? Sex change apparently, Janine Vardy England's number 9.
Matt Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Im actually not so sure of this any more. Theoretically i agree but Rooney has declined so sharply and it has been so plain for everyone to see i think Hodgson is already struggling badly to get him in. If this carries on for another 5 months i think Rooney's inclusion (in the starting XI, not the squad) would be met with media scorn and fan outrage. The bloke's fvcking muck now and there's very little denying it. But there lies the problem doesn't it. He's struggling to get him in, but he's still shoehorning him in...Why? How? Woy - Put your foot down, grow some balls, make a point and play players regardless of whoever they play for who are on bloody form. It's not a case of 'let's give it another 5 months' make a statement of intent now, it might even make other players sit up and listen and give them a kick up the backside, to see a player like Rooney, one of the undroppables dropped would make everyones place uncertain and want/need to perform.

jammie82uk Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 He's still got his wrist bandaged up maybe that's not healing and it needs to be pinned. Yeah could be this as surely he keeps damaging it in the games

LVG's had the balls to drop him.
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 If Woy opts to not start Vardy and Kane next summer, instead preferring Rooney, the sod will need kicking up the arse. But I bet he will.
Matt Posted 3 January 2016 Posted 3 January 2016 Minor operation - 1-2 weeks out Needs a break, good time to have it. Someone said a few weeks ago he going in for an op after the Bournemouth game.
CharlieCharles Posted 5 January 2016 Posted 5 January 2016 Are we all in agreement this guy is the spitting image of Vardy? Seen it on reddit about 2 weeks back.

Leicesterpool Posted 5 January 2016 Posted 5 January 2016 This is a long shot but if you had the option either going for a championship striker in Andre Gray for England or an out form Rooney. Who would you go for?
filbertway Posted 5 January 2016 Posted 5 January 2016 This is a long shot but if you had the option either going for a championship striker in Andre Gray for England or an out form Rooney. Who would you go for? For us, Andre Gray any day. He'll be playing in the Prem before long.
lestajigs Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 This is a long shot but if you had the option either going for a championship striker in Andre Gray for England or an out form Rooney. Who would you go for? Rooney without a doubt for me
Dan Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Depends if we intend to actually utilise Gray's strengths. If not then why kill his confidence.
Voll Blau Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Rooney out for up to two months... http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/football/clubs/manchesterunited/article4692719.ece
UPinCarolina Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Why didn't we try to sign Andre Gray? Just curious. I suppose he would have wanted a move to a "bigger" club, perhaps? His pace seems to be +

MakingEmileOfIt Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Why didn't we try to sign Andre Gray? Just curious. I suppose he would have wanted a move to a "bigger" club, perhaps? His pace seems to be + Gray had already played for two clubs this season, and you can't play for more than two in one season. Nobody could have signed him. Well maybe they could, but he couldn't play.
Ric Flair Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Maybe just maybe Woy will now play Vardy and Kane together with some quick thinking midfielders and a partnership could be born. With Welbeck and Sturridge possibly back as well it could be a dynamic England forward line.
