AyewJoking Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 that was fúcking awful. been the best part of a year but we bottled it tonight. Villa deserved to win
Benji Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Such a missed opportunity. Could have gone it half time with the game all but over. Can't for the life of me understand why De Laet was brought on when he was (not a criticism of him he actually played OK and played a couple of great passes), just don't see how that was what we needed. Ulloa was a great addition for Villa. I'll try to be a little bit positive; Shine was brilliant.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Great first half, second was poor. But should of been 2 up by then. Vardy needs a goal more, he should have taken the peno.
Jattdogg Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Weve taken 4 points from 6 this season so cant be upset with that. It was a very dreadful display but perhaps the midweek game did us in. Mahrez is done with pk's. Ulloa to me has some bad touches at times. I want to love the guy (no h0m0) but at times he frustrates me. But cant single him out today at all because it wasnt our day for many players.
GaelicFox Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 I posted other day about Mahrez and his head being turned , plenty disagreed , but it seems to me his focus on a summer move is tripping him up ! Keep playing like that and Manchester , london and Madrid won't be calling for you any time soon son !
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Wish Vardy would stop being so greedy I know it might sound stupid but that chance at the end was made for a pull back to Kante. Mahrez's penalty was woeful. Gray should of came on sooner. Need a new forward even if it's as an impact sub had enough of Ulloa now.
foxfanazer Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Riyad and Ranieri did us today. Villa were woeful and from 1-0 up that is a ridiculous point
ousefox Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Can't really complain about any of the decisions. Our goal was offside anyway...Is that a joke? About our goal? We were very lucky with decisions today.
bovril Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 We've been poor recently. Did anybody really think we were going to go through a whole season playing like we did on opening day? Tiredness sets in, teams start working us out to some extent. But we're still picking up points, grinding out results and we're top ffs, 9 points ahead of 5th.
steflcfc Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Average performance Some of our passing/decision making was shocking u can tell why we dont have much posession. And this was againt a very poor villa side who had nothing untill they brought the big man on. Marhez....when he aint in the game, u know it. We carried him tonight and thats excluding the peno miss. Hope this type of performance is just because we put a shift in on Wednesday. Another point...another game down. Hopefully our game is back to the levels where are used to, cause when its not we are average!
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 To think that We would of won today & against Bournemouth we would be 5 points clear today!!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Feels like a big defeat that... it was just terrible
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 An even first half but Villa the more dominant second half. To be fair to them they worked hard for every ball. Either team could of easily won that, both had chances. On a positive note, top of the league.
Dr The Singh Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 We've been riding our luck for the last couple of games. We've MOT played to the high standards earlier in the season. For me, the rot began against Liverpool, since then our performances haven't been the same
matty98 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 4 points from 2 away games with one being Spurs is a good return
shen Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 The only consolation is that we kept plugging away and looked relatively solid. I think we're playing far too deep in general though, especially in the second half. We can't keep conceding so much space and possession. It's costing a bunch of energy and we do not look like doing anything with the ball once we get it. So many poor or indifferent performances today. Only Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan and Drinkwater performed anywhere near the levels we know they can play at. Mahrez, Albrighton, Ulloa, Kanté, Huth, Vardy and Fuchs all way below their best. It's concerning indeed.
RowlattsFox Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Bit embarrassing to go top after that. However 4 points from the games this week. Would have taken that. Mahrez needs a game on the bench again, far to casual in everything he did today.

Jimothy Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 We ain't gonna win the league dropping points to shit teams like Villa !! You think Man City might topple us? http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/34691261
LcFc_Smiv Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Fed up of Mahrez getting a free ride on the right wing while Albrightons busting a nut on the left. Let him play on the right where he came in and did so well at the back end of last season, useless playing him on the left where for all his hard work he's limited to what he can produce. Ranieri got it wrong today, the loving uncle analogs great but he needs to be ruthless
EnglishOxide Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Nobody came out of that well. I've got no idea what that De Laet sub was all about. Commentator said it was to protect against Sissoko. Seems Claudio was trying to play for the 1-0. That's no good when most the team underperform. Mahrez needs to have a good look at himself, he has gone right off the boil and his place should be under threat from Gray. Don't let him get comfortable thinking he is bigger than us. Villa are ****ing shit. I cannot believe we let that slip.
bluebeau Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 That has to be the worst performance of the season so far & that was our strongest 11 players. If I were a neutral watching that, I would be thinking to myself, " How the Hell is that team top of the league?" We were dire, Villa totally outplayed us in the 2nd half & in the end we were probably lucky to get a draw. So many players were absent today. I hope that is the last penalty that Mahrez takes, you could tell by his body language that he wasn't confident in taking it.
NewEnglandFox Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 I don't care that we're top of the league. That was 2 points dropped.
