He's just made a poor decision in pulling the game back for a free kick to Liverpool when they were in possession & looking dangerous.

Knew that would come back to bite me as soon as pressed post IN GENERAL, he normally has a good game

There are only two ends, there's a good chance something will happen at the Kop end. Why do they make it sound as if it's significant? related to that 'famous Anfield atmosphere' that rarely ever comes to life any more.
Ted Maul Posted 21 January 2017 Posted 21 January 2017 Really not good for us. Just having a look at the table... if we don't get a win out of the Southampton and Burnley games, we're in big trouble.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 21 January 2017 Posted 21 January 2017 Real bad result for us, not that it ever wasn't but Southampton now really is a crucial game.
ZeGuy Posted 21 January 2017 Posted 21 January 2017 Well that's not good. We better get at least a draw tomorrow.
Koke Posted 21 January 2017 Posted 21 January 2017 We will lose to Southampton and CR rill say we played well and spirit, team work, fighting zzzzzx
Nalis Posted 21 January 2017 Posted 21 January 2017 Had Palace, Watford and Boro down as wins and Sunderland down as a draw but didnt expect to see this. Always thought we'd be safe (and still think we will be) due to the poor quality of the rest of the bottom half but its the first time doubt has crossed my mind. Our next 5 league games could go either way.
pSinatra Posted 21 January 2017 Posted 21 January 2017 So when Chelsea win the league, will it be because the rest of the league didn't turn up?

Him, Mark Clattenburg & Michael Oliver top 3 refs in the league for me.

We all assumed the bottom 4 would still struggle, now I believe that is not quite the case, 3 new managers, new impetus with those clubs puts us at real risk
Tielemans63 Posted 21 January 2017 Posted 21 January 2017 Oh shit, we were kind of relying on other teams being even worse than we are at the moment. Swansea looked really good today, very organised. Bugger
Corky Posted 21 January 2017 Posted 21 January 2017 We'll be in trouble as long as we keep playing poorly and not giving ourselves a chance. Now is the time to step up. Any concerns are of our own making and Swansea winning today shouldn't change that.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 21 January 2017 Posted 21 January 2017 hope Swansea stay up, the current bottom 3 looks the like dream 3, maybe swap hull for boro

The problem is we're performing like a relegation side, the only solace I felt we could take was that the bottom three all looked in a lot more trouble. We still shouldn't drop but we've got to wake up now. I wouldn't back us to go and do what Swansea have done today.

By far my favourite ground to visit. It's history and character is there and even approaching the ground it's different to anywhere else. The atmosphere isn't good now but it isn't anywhere. The best atmosphere's I've experienced were when we were Championship and League One.

But inside, Anfield used to have a famous atmosphere and it was revered. People sometimes still believe it does but you rarely see it (or hear it) any more.

Yeah I know but there's not one ground in the Premier League that is loud.
