Thanks Vichai.

Be good if he singed up to FT, Transfer threads wouldn't last long.

Liam start stalking the user-base make sure there are no users regularly logging in from Leicester and Thailand

In all honestly, I was surprised by the news of a move away for Jeff in the first place. He'd get more game time at WBA, but he does feature regularly for us - albeit through sub appearances. I think he will play more us next season as well, if we can utlise his pace he is very useful.

Only thing that concerns me is that it is reported that he 'wanted the move' to West Brom. However, I suspect he wouldn't actually want to leave Leicester, I think it's just that aspect of game time.

Sh@gger Schlupp the Leicester Lothario is staying ...   end thread.    :scarf:

Sounds to me like the club want WBA to up their offer or get Jeff to submit a transfer request so they don't have to pay him his percentage.

Bingo I reckon. Same applies to Moore

Who are these 'Sky sources' that are claiming Jeff is 'deeply unhappy' at not being allowed to talk to West Brom?

I am also deeply unhappy at not being able to speak to Rachel!

I'd miss Jeff if he went, he's been through a lot with us for a young age. Think his pace and directness causes loads of problems from the bench, I remember him being involved in some good stuff v Norwich (H) last season and of course he won the pen v West Ham. Obviously if he wants first team football then I think we should let him go, he deserves a chance at being first choice in a Premier League side and I doubt he'd get that here.

I remember checking my phone for the score in that Rotherham cup game when he got that hat trick and thinking "what the f*** is a Schlupp?!"

Imagine Jeff Schlupp at his home when the news first broke that West Brom (!) were willing to pay £12m (!) for him.

I bet he was like

and then news comes in of the bid rejected...

If he isn't then that's 7.5m we just pissed up the wall.

Not necessarily currently. We've bought him for his potential not how good he is now

So you'd play 'a pretty talented young boy' over a powerhouse and a Premier League winner? On the basis of a few games in the Euro's where WALES were semi finalists...

lol

lollollol

give it up ffs.

Felt deflated after Hull game and talk of Jeff leaving.

Pumped for Arsenal now Riyad has signed and VS said Schlupp ain't leaving too!!

Big signing to get everyone buzzing and DD to sign contract and then I'm happy! lol

Rather we'd played hard ball with Kante tbh

I like Jeff, I'd rather keep him than let him go. I get why people don't rate him and can see why they would accept £12m but do we really need it? He does contribute and he fits our style, why not replace him, see how it goes and then sell. We don't need to gamble.

Yeah at the Euro's, looked a pretty talented young boy.

I don't dislike Schulpp either, sure he's a lovely bloke, he's just not at the level of footballing ability we now aspire too.

He looks far to light weight at the min, he was getting man handled playing for the u23s v Man U the other day

We cannot let Schlupp go, the guy has improved immeasurably and I cannot see why he won't keep improving . I very much doubt he is that unhappy being at a team he has been with for many years and has European football to look forward to. Realistically he cannot be replaced for the money which has been quoted.

Yeah but he's not a signing for the development squad. He's going to have to play to reach his potential. Schlupp is not exactly old so unless Kaputska is better or at least as good then he's not going to play much and that will put back his development. I did write that before we torpedoed the Schlupp deal too.

When he went to Man united on trial , do you think he would have thought twice about us if they had wanted him ? Football is mercenary . We should have  took the money.
