He seems to be the exact opposite of what made us successful last year. He needs to step up and start doing the nasty stuff. There was a point the first half where he was 1-1 with the winger and played the early ball. Just  run at the man, man!

Nah, he's a waste of space. Bench him and sell him in the summer to whoever who wants him.

Undeniably ****ing dreadful. The Nigerian Josh Low.

Please please please Claudio...don't put him near the starting XI ever again

Bet he starts against Liverpool!!

He really was terrible tonight. But then he looked good against Everton and against Barcelona in pre season. He really is just one of those players that is all pace with lack of quality (Schlupp, Adama Traore, Aaron Lennon etc)

I'd sooner ask Walsall really nicely if we could do a straight swap and have Franck Moussa back instead, than see him anywhere near a City shirt again.

He's brain dead, just like the names you just mentioned.

I have a dream that we start signing players with technique instead of speed merchants. I'd rather have a slow player with technical ability rather than a fast player with no technical ability.

It does make me wonder exactly why we signed him. Claudio, for the most part has always gone 4-4-2 and Musa can't play as a winger in that formation so his only position is up front. It was always clear that Claudio would favour Slimani and Musa as the 2 strikers, so it was a pretty hefty amount to spend on a back up to Vardy.

I feel a bit sorry for Musa as I can't blame him for not trying. He's been shocking like many in the team and clearly lacking in confidence. However, he's had a fair bite of the cherry and when you consider that he's started more games than Gray, he's not delivered. Today he likely played because of his Champions League experience, but was again underwhelming to be polite.

Personally I'd write him off as one that didn't work out and look to move him on in the summer, regardless of which division we are in.

That's CR's problem. Kapi is slower but technically better then Musa, but Musa always gets picked.

Did anyone else notice than when he was subbed off he walked straight to the bench and didn't do the usual high fiving and hugging that players do when subbed / come on?

Im sure it happened... it did didn't it?

Yeah it did happen. Not sure what to make of it though. Maybe he was angry at his own performance.

I just hope he wasn't pissed off to be subbed.

It did yes. Sums up his lack of vision that he couldn't see Gray on the sideline

When one uses him as a left midfielder, it invites trouble. Because he neither has the composure, control nor technique to create something on the left-hand side.

Left/right winger, closer to the opposing goal area, is more like his natural position, not so sure about his physical presence as a striker.

Speed alone won't do, see Adama Traoré for comparison.

When he ripped Mascherano to pieces in pre-season and then again watching his performance at Wembley against united I thought we had a player on our hands. Lately though he has been shocking.

100% effort and commitment should be the minimum requirement for any player wanting to get in the starting 11! Tonight he was at fault for the first goal and it was inexcusable.

Be strong & then if you do lose the ball work your arse off to get it back.
