How much does the manager have to say with regards to motivation though? Ranieri is lightyears ahead of Pearson tactically, but you knew what you'd get with Pearson. We could be completely outclassed, but the players would have at least been running through brickwalls to do something

You may be right but it's a shame 80,000 a week and professional pride can't 'encourage' a professional footballer to even appear to care.

I just haven't got a ****ing clue what he's trying to achieve. Literally no-one can defend this. These are so ordinary and they're panning us.

The problem with Gray is he probably feels he needs to make an impact every time he gets the ball.due to hardly having a chance this year.  The bloke needs a run. He has clearly got something and he has looked our only threat today.

Yep totally agree. I think he believes he needs to do a worldy to stay on. He's very young, but undoubtedly talented.

Ranieri is lightyears ahead of Pearson tactically, is he though? CR actually comes across as stubborn and inept his had a good foundation to work with and now 70 million of investment and we are producing the worst performances for years

Have kept the faith in Claudio all year. But this shambles may very well be the breaking point. This is shocking. No positives today. Not a one.

Can't defend, little threat in attack apart from Gray, can barely keep the ball. Just bored of the same game every time away from home.

It's bad and I don't know what the answer is. Ranieri won us the league and twenty something games later I just can't call for him to go. Nine days left in this transfer window we desperately need to find a couple of proven players who are comfortable on the ball and creative.

Our back four look totally adrift and any number of the defensive midfielders we've recruited are making absolutely no difference.

People calling for Ranieri to be sacked, exactly what do you think would be achieved by this? With less than half the season to go, how would that actually change anything? The new manager would have no ability to make transfers and nowhere near enough time to change the system and lineup. How is it a solution to the problem?

Isn't the point that CR is not showing any ability to change to current performances with the players he has?

Are you suggesting that no manager could come in and get more from the players we have? A new manager couldn't have more tactical knowledge, a different approach in training or be more of a man motivator?

I dont want CR sacked but I think suggesting that we simply accept this rubbish just because you can't sign players is naive.
