FireFox Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Was 1 point really worth playing Vardy, Ndidi, Fuchs, Simpson and Albrighton for 90 minutes? Benalouane pretty much too, potentially injured, same with Simpson.
justfoxes Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Another contentious decision to show that football needs video replays, especially when we have tools like Dean refereeing !!

Our midfield looks desperately fatigued When u watch it back again i just cant understand how u can climb all over the back of someone like that and get away with it

Webbo Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Ironically we were far better second half but conceded twice. I thought Benteke's goal was a blatant foul but I had Arabic commentary, what did the English speaking commentators say?
UPinCarolina Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Needed that, but needed the win for confidence more. At least we held on.
Will1981 Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Should have won that terrible defending from Ndidi for their 1st and a foul by Benteke for their 2nd, the Ref was very poor also.
midland_red Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 So we're now on 37 points. Dull have 30 with a max of 15 possible points still to win Swansea however have 28 points with a max of 12 to win. Still not mathematically safe but time is beginning to run out for one of those two (on the assumption tht its ll over for Boro and Blunderland)
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Wouldn't have been disappointed before KO with the draw. But to be 2 up and not take all three is now very disappointing. The display was poor on the whole though with it sandwiched between the CL games perhaps understandable. If Amartey has to play CB on Tuesday then it will be without any game time there. Surprised at that.

People who said Benalouane should have jumped obviously think he is Michael Jordan or something-He would have to have some seriously impressive hang time. He had to time his jump but didnt get the chance because he had Benteke riding on his shoulders
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Well an important point especially with the other results, just a shame we had a two goal lead and let it slip

Hawk17 Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Decent enough result considering how badly we tired. Absolutely huge performance from Huth.

lee7 Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 I think palace will feel hard done by today. They looked like the only team out of the two that really wanted the 3 points. We were second to the ball all over the pitch & couldn't string 5 or 6 passes together without giving the ball away. Personally I thought their second was a foul purely because he stopped Benny from jumping by climbing all over his back.
ousefox Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Very good away point. Just hope the injuries aren't too bad. It looks as though CS is more likely to put Fuchs CB than Amartey from the subs today.
Aus Fox Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Realistically now it's Sunderland, Boro and one from Hull and Swansea to drop. Gap is too big for teams that can't win away.
Chico1958 Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 A big shout out to ZeGuy Melrose Melbourne Fuchs The Blur The Floyd Thanks, you made my afternoon
StriderHiryu Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 All of the boys need to sleep in the cryo chamber for the next two days! A point will do but hard to see us going through on Tuesday now. Hope I'm completely wrong on that one though!

kingfox Posted 15 April 2017 Posted 15 April 2017 Palace been in decent form but can't help but feel disappointed after that.
