Well he's been available for 540 minutes. And been subbed on once so far. He wasn't even on their bench yesterday.

Think you've got your figures wrong Stick. And he was on the bench yesterday.

Pretty sure he was on the bench yesterday. He'll play midweek and if he does well he'll stay in. Can't expect him to just demand a starting place after 2 weeks.

Oh yeah he was o the bench my bad. Was looking at the Sheff U bench. I just think he needs to be playing regularly. I hope he can break into their first XI soon.

He joined them 11 days ago, they've had several quick games in that time. He's probably had about 4 non match prep training sessions. Can people just give him, to settle in before we start counting the blooming minutes he plays, it's ridiculous.

Played behind closed doors and scored 4 today.

I think even at Mk dons he started as a sub.Don't get a lot of fans these days.Seem like everything should happen straight the way or player is crap, injury prone, too young/old etc.

Apparently Barnes played in a closed door friendly yesterday against Lincoln and scored 4 goals. Hopefully it will earn him a start as some fans on the Barnsley forums want him to be more involved on match days.

Starting today at Lw against Sunderland

Great news.

Four goals in a friendly in the week and now forcing his way to the first team in a Championship team so early indicates his quality.

So what it's a good experience for him and it's better than playing 23s. He'll get game time over the season.

Hope people are going to stop talking rubbish now!
