Wouldn’t blame Riyad too much but why Simpson gets drawn into attempting to ineptercept I have no clue. At worst it was 2 v 3 defenders. We are allowing them to play the game in second gear

If you re-watch it Mahrez had plenty of time to pass it to Albrighton instead of taking on 3 players with not much space!

Ndidi has been terrific, but Kante has been the best player on the pitch which makes that thread where we voted Ndidi a better player even more ridiculous.

Chelsea are the better team so it’s not surprising, be nice to see some effort in the second half though,  not just huffing and puffing. We really don’t like playing live on the tv do we!

Iheanacho blowing after that run, the kids not fit whatsoever

He seems to give up so easily. See the goal he shrugged his shoulders when mahrez lost the ball. 7 seconds later we are a goal down. Big step up in performance needed all round. And can we stop giving the all away when not under pressure

Yes - and I'm pretty sure the other 19 premier league teams this season have conceded some of the same. It's football. Nothings ever going to be perfect mate. We are Leicester not Barcelona.

Doesn't mean we can't look to strengthen a weak area though does it

Just watched the replay on the bbc twice and I'm appauled by the lack of desire by Nacho after lost the ball.  He purposely drifted into into a crowded area and showed absolutley no desire to get into space. His back was turned as Chelsea broke. Fk off

That's because he doesn't know how to play the position in midfield.

We did? That’s a bit embarrassing

We won't win this game as we're not in it at all.

Puel's system can only work with quality FBs especially against packed midfield like Chelsea's. SImpson does a lot but he can't cross to save his life and Chilwell has been shit this half.

No that was Nacho's sloppy Pass, then Mahrez had 3 Players around him, with No get Out.

People blame Nacho lol all Nacho did was (granted a v. poor) a pass to Mahrez who took forever on the ball and very predictably was robbed. Maybe with all the fancy patterns on the pitch he mistook it for a chess board, we should blame the pitch caretaker then

If we had gone in 0-0 id say it was a decent half but to concede like that is a massive blow, Chillwell is wide open we have created absolutely nothing.

Morgan and Simpson clearly belong more on Blackpool beach now. Chilwell is just a dogshit defender.

Iheanacho is not a 10.

I can't be arsed any more. Our accounts show we should be a good side but we can't even put out a team of 11 players all in the right positions.

As I've said for months - lot of changes needed in the summer but no faith in our suits to make the right signings.

Chelsea had one meaningful attempt. We've created chances just need that clinical final ball. One goal separates us that's it.

How much is needed so Danny Murphy never commentates on a game again? I can't stand listening to him

I'll do it for a cheese toastie.

Encouraging Danny Simpson to get forward and cross the ball is never going to work . All it means is he's out of position and the floaty crosses to no-one are utterly pointless . It's not his game and it's stupid to pretend that he can cut it

Sat inLegends Bar New York nursing my St Pars day hangover, if Chilwell could tackle he’d be half decent, Iheanacho off for Japozaki for me, met the New York Foxes.

Come on our team.... :scarf:

Yeah right. Losing the ball in their box after a dreadful pass from Nacho is surely the reason why we conceded. The other fckers in the midfield and the defense have nothing to do with it.

They do too, but he's the main culprit, shouldn't take forever to play the ball. Either pass it forward or to the back, don't just stand there. Ofc he gets robbed all the time every game, it's part of the risk, but this time it cost us big. They hit us on the perfect counter, with a perfect defence splitting pass, any defence in the world would have a hard time stopping that case closed
