Samilktray Posted 31 August 2018 Posted 31 August 2018 No idea what Scholes's obsession with Paul Pogba is either, constantly has to make himself feel relevant by talking about him. Proper weirdo, get him in the bin.
SecretPro Posted 31 August 2018 Posted 31 August 2018 Scholes can say whatever the feck he wants about Pogba. He was twice the player, and for those not old enough to have seen what Scholes did, it was a quiet brilliance. Something we don't see to often in the game these days with everyone being Billy big bollocks.

Christ, has he ever said anything positive or had words of encouragement for anyone? Imagine being a 43 year old ex-footballer but looking like a 63 year old ex-factory worker who hasn’t missed an afternoon at the local in 45 years.
Soar Fox Posted 31 August 2018 Posted 31 August 2018 11x Premier league titles 3x Fa cups 2x champions league 2x league cups 1x club World Cup 1x intercontinental cup nearly 500 appearances for Man United. But people sat at home on foxestalk think he’s overrated.

On the eve of the 1999 Euro championship play off first leg at Hampden, Alex Ferguson publicly stated that the player he was most worried about on Scotland's behalf was Paul Scholes. Scholes plays well, bags a brace in a 2-0 win and effectively ends Scotland's chances. Great player and a big game player. Still, wtf does Ferguson know about football.......

It was Gordon Banks, Muzzy Izzet and Neil Lennon over rated on here the other week and now it’s Paul Scholes I just don’t know what’s going on any more.
The Bear Posted 1 September 2018 Posted 1 September 2018 Scholes was fantastic. Couldn't tackle mind but superb at everything else. If you see Gary Neville's Soccerbox thingy on Sky then watch the one with Scholes. He was bloody brilliant.
Koke Posted 1 September 2018 Posted 1 September 2018 Yeah Scholes was brilliant. I'm old enough to remember that but it doesn't change the fact he's a miserable old fart now. A bit like Keane and Souness.
mancunianfox Posted 1 September 2018 Posted 1 September 2018 I didn’t like Scholes but that’s only because he was brilliant and I couldn’t stand that Man Utd team.

And his views on United always sound bang on to me, not afraid to tell the harsh truths. A pretty impressive list of tributes here..
Ted Maul Posted 1 September 2018 Posted 1 September 2018 Scholes was absolute f**king class. The whole Scholes, Lampard, Gerrard debate isn't even a debate in my eyes.
davieG Posted 1 September 2018 Posted 1 September 2018 He was good but maybe they never saw Davie Gibson
