He is always on the move. Passes and then moves into space to receive the ball again. A really impressive performance from the little guy!

Wilf was Wilf, an absolute monster in breaking up the play but also a little careless with his passing again.

The two of them looked excellent overall though. So happy that Mendy has improved drastically, as Silva really is struggling to show his quality in this league.

Thought we bossed the midfield with these two and that's against 1st/2nd best team in the league! Very impressed.

Honestly, he is a superb player. Him and Wilf are a big reason we nulified Liverpool for 60-70 minutes after their first goal. He can tackle and he can pass, my kind of CDM.

Credit to Puel for bringing him back and giving him a new lease of life.

I thought he had an excellent game today and looks like the player we thought we signed in 2016.

Together with Wilf we look like we have a good midfield partnership moving forwards.

I am really pleased for him @Tuna

plenty were writing him off and he is obviously a decent enough player now injury free etc

up the Foxes

No one mentioned him at the start of the season, but for me he has now jumped ahead of Silva and Iborra, like a new signing all credit must go to him well done.??

They are good at breaking up attacks and both had good games. However neither are great on the ball. I think we should be playing both Iborra and Silva with either Mendy or Ndidi

Surprised with his passing ability, actually. Very composed on the ball and him and Wilf look a great partnership. Like having a new signing.

Quality today - was everywhere.

Same can't be said for some of the fans sat around me - one bloke genuinely said 'get Mendy off for Iborra.'

Lets be honest, some people really don't see or understand what is happening on the pitch. They enter into the game with preconceived perceptions about certain players & really can't follow the intricacies of the game.

Also strange is that this group is usually the most vocal.
