Regardless of ability, who's your favourite player, past and/or present?

Yep moved back here after he retired from football and became a local Copper . Not sure if he still is

Great player. Probably my favourite goal at Filbo was his screamer against Liverpool in the early 80’s. Almost uprooted the net

Gary Mac …… wonderful player that just made the game look easy.

Gary Mac would definitely be in my City all time ‘cultured’ 11.

Heskey was a real favourite when he burst on the scene in 96. Outside of Claridge's playof goal his goal against Southampton in 96/97 was the first wonder moment of my time as supporter.

Have great time for Izzet too. LIke the Andy King of his day joining us from Chelsea.

Schmeichel has been an inspired player for us this decade. Sevilla is up there with any iconic Leicester displays. Vardy though is our most box office figure. Everything comes alive when he scores a goal.

Would have to give a mention to O'Neill for the success of the late 90s. Pearson too who might go down as my all time favourite figure in the club.

If Riyad hadn't acted like such a spoiled brat, he would be here too, but those escape antics were too much. Most talented player to ever play for us though.

Showing my age always liked steve thompson. Cambiasso and kante obviously stand out as well. As well as garry parker. Neil Lennon has always been one of my favourites. Don't think I'll see a better forward in my lifetime than vardy for us.

Can’t believe no one has mentioned the Salford Pirlo yet?!? Richie Wellens!!

Swagged about the pitch, pinged champagne balls everywhere and loved an assist to his pal Gally.

Glad to see Muzzy on most people’s list as he would be top of mine not  just based on his ability but also what a great guy he was to meet.....A lot of the O’Neill team had visit to hotel in Dublin during an international break and a crowd of Irish based fans went out to meet them....Muzzy was superb , loads of time to chat with adults and kids alike and pose for loads of photos ( If memory serves me right this was the same trip that Lennon gained notoriety when in the wee small hours the following morning he relieved himself by peeing behind a parked car which happened to be an unmarked police car. A brief court appearance the following morning followed with a substantial contribution to the local poor box )

Muzzy, for fairly obvious reasons, and I always liked Kasey Keller despite the awful goalkeeping tops.

Get in the ****ing sea they were amazing.

Steve Guppy my fave of all time.

What a player!

Good call.  I am still gutted, and I mean it hurts, that in his only appearance for England, when we were crying out for anyone with a left foot, Keegan played him on the ****ing RIGHT.  ****.
