Vardy is our best player, we have to play to his strengths. Simple as that.

Really can't get on board with a centre midfield pairing of Wilf and Mendy.

Especially when defensively they are currently offering very little protection. Would we concede even more without them as a pairing, it's a laughable thought if so but we have to make some change somewhere, we are a joke.

Words can’t express how much I loathe Arsenal. Vile club, vile players and vile fans.

Just imagine being even more loathsome than Tottenham.

Absolute scum.

Arsenal are an average side, which was clearly evident in the first half. No way will they be anywhere close to competing for the Premier League. They will fight off the likes of Bournemouth and Watford to finish in the top six!

We look really soft and easy to play against at the moment - v depressing and I'm not knocking CP.

pretty much every player is on serious wedge as befits internationals but the sum of the parts is way more than the whole

I thought staying with 2 up front we were doing ok. 60 mins Nacho off Albrighton on,  63rd minute 2-1 all downhill from then on.

We'd already capitulated long before that IMO, they were already well on top and we couldn't keep the ball, couldn't get forward. We'd not had a shot on goal since the 20th minute or something like that.

mad that we are amazing for 35 mins then absolutely tragic. why? cannot work it out.

sure we shouldve been further ahead, sure we shouldn’t have conceded our standard 45th minute goal but the hour after we scored was hilarious. we barely completed a pass. from a team that was doing bloody well for that first half hour.

I hope we stick at it and keep working on whatever produced the first 30 minutes. But we have to get better defensively and we have to get better mentally, we really do.

Got a decent run of games now and we need to win some of them.

Literally everyone who's not a Leicester fan seems to be raving about Arsenal's goals. Seeking a few objective views is always a good idea before being too harsh on ourselves.

I was stood in a pub, full of neutral who if anything wanted Leicester to win. I think every table said ‘****ing goal that’

They aren’t average, won 10 on the bounce. Absolutely flying.

What worries me the most is our ability to look to the bench for positive changes compared to our rivals. Not talking about superstar strikers like Aubameyang but look at how Everton's subs changed their game on Sunday.

I think the squad needs 2 more strikers.  Iheanacho isn't doing enough and Shinji hasn't scored in a year.  With this style of play he doesn't really add anything - as much as I'm a fan of his.

Can you even begin to imagine how bad Soyuncu must be looking in training if he's not trusted but Ghezzal is on the pitch?

Ghezzal is utter shite . We need much more quality in our signings than him

great first 30+ minutes. Should've had a penalty and been playing against ten men.

Bad last minute of the first half.

Outplayed a lot of the second half but still if Ndidi's header had been a little lower we'd have been up 1-2.

A draw would've been nice but away at Arse can't expect much.

Vardy had a great sprint in the first few seconds then seemed to lose it. I wonder if he's pulled something.

Ndidi was okay but still naive on occasions.

Ricardo is good going forward but can't defend for toffee

Evans was caught out a little but overall wasn't as bad as he has been.

Amartey made fewest mistakes at the back.

Chilwell had a good game with a poor ten minutes in the second half.

Madders is a great work in progress.

Nacho unlucky.

Okazaki is probably finished.

Puel did fine.

On to the next.

7th is in reach.

Nacho was lucky to even get a game. Puel did not do " fine " he was outsmarted by a proper manager who knew how to change the game and exploit our weaknesses. Face it we have a fair to middling side with a manager who should never be managing at this level. If you really think we could finish seventh then your bottle is not only half full it's still corked.

Seems that Puel is responsible for that brilliant first half an hour but utterly blameless for the last hour. Cognitive dissonance or what?

Because we are never in control, both going forward or at the back there's no composure. There's a distinct lack of leadership and direction from Puel and the experienced players, we have a very soft underbelly too. I cannot emphasize enough how bad we are at the back, it overshadows any promise in attack.

Then you look at the pitiful attempts to resolve the loss of Mahrez and it makes my blood boil.

I’m pretty shocked and a bit gutted at the stick Vardys getting tonight tbh

Vardy should not be immune from criticism. I know that’s not what you’re saying but I think it’s worth re-iterating.

I’m desperate for him to shove it down the throats of the “one season wonder” brigade in the media, the types who’d rather see Rashford up front for England than him. I hate it when he plays badly. He’s a club legend and deserves every penny and every accolade he earns. No doubt he’ll be back to his best soon enough.

In the Arsenal post-match thread, criticism of players in that game is on topic and in this case completely justified so long as it’s not personal.

Yeah they look nice until to analyse the defending. Each time one of our CB's would push out into midfield, we'd get caught out and there is then acres for any decent footballing side to pass it through the spaces we've left. If the CB's had stayed in line, none of those goals would have happened IMO.

Amazing the difference it makes when you’ve got a £60m striker on the bench.

How many top sides have they beaten in that run?

5 defenders and 2 holding midfielders and we get cut apart like that time after time, almost unforgivable.

I think @Corky got it spot on in the match thread.

If we have time on the ball, we look a tidy side.

Maddison is skilful, Ricardo is quick and Wilf gets his foot in

BUT as soon as we play a decent side who up a gear and put us under pressure, we go to pieces and become clueless.

I don’t know where we go from here personally other than kicking around mid table.
