Krameric has a champions leauge double, tonight, his goals got Hoffeniem in the top four of the bundasliga, and between Pearson and Ranairi, a real gem slipped through our fingers. Must be worth 30/40 million now. What a shameful waste of resources.

Didn't suit our style of play, it's not like he was worth accommodating in 15/16 either. 40 goals in 100 games for Hoffenheim, good record but he was never going to start over Vardy and he wanted to leave. Forget about it. Signing Slimani for £27m is the worst business we've done.

Looks bad for us now given his form but did any of us worry about it when Vardy scored in 11 games in a row, Mahrez hit red hot form and a nice few goals from Ulloa to boot.

We can't complain how things worked out. Looks like Kramaric can't either. Fair play to him.

Ranieri preferred Ulloa for some reason, I think if Nige was still at the club Kramz would still be here, even worse in hindsight when you think we spunked 30 mill on Kelechi when Kramz is a superior player to him

Cant really blame anyone at the club given 90% of the fan base wanted him off the books as well. Can remember some bright spark on here saying he was an average league one player.

The problem is, at that time, vardy were on form. Would Kramaric sit on the bench whole season?

He also not kind of player who would chasing opponent like crazy, something why ranieri preferred okazaki at that time. Ulloa also got a good defensive workrate, Altough not as okazaki.

As technical player, he cannot play on the wings, he's a striker, a number 9. Ranieri prefer to put pace and workrate in forward.

In Croatia he did play for no 10 for few matches before dropped for his positional indiscipline, which made them outnumbered in the middle.

As he's already 25, and considering his quality, he won't be patient to sit in the bench week in week out when vardy is undropable. At least kelechi is younger, so more patient to sit on the bench and more disciplined positionally when you want a no. 10

So unfortunately he has to go.

Didn't fit our team at the time. wouldn't have got any game time. Now he'd be a good player for the Puel system.

Who wouldn't want Kramaric banging them in left, right and center for LCFC today?

The fact is, he just couldn't get past Vardy back then, a simple case of unfortunate circumstances.

Wish him well at Hoffenheim, they're a good team.

We all knew this would happen. Everybody said that he would pull up trees and score goals in the Bundesliga. He just didn't fit our team when he was here. We all knew he was a good player.

I'm glad he is making a name for himself. Am I angry we let him go? Not at all. It was most certainly the right thing to do for the sake of his own career.

Wouldn't surprise me if we tried to sign him back

Ranieri didn’t like the look of him or his style. But his attitude was spot on. In the title winning season when Benteke misses that absolute sitter at Anfield on Boxing Day, you’ll find him as the first City player back.

Sometimes it just doesn’t work for a player at that club, at that time. Fair play to him in working on his game and make a success after a blip.

Definitely one that got away. Quite simply the move was too soon for him as he was 21 when he came over and there was pressure on him to score immediately. Then in the title winning year Vardy / Shinji / Leo all took their chances and well... we won the bloody league!

The mistake was to sell him (should have loaned him instead) but back then our style was not suited to him. The irony is that right now our style would be ideal for him and he’d walk into the team.

Moral of the story is that young players need time. We’ve got tons of young players now and not all will make it but don’t write them off after a few games!
