Will the need the experience of Evans alongside him though. Be nice for King to get a game but I don't know if its worth it if we're hoping to move him on. We've managed to rotate reasonably well over the past few weeks, so there's no reason we shoudn't put out a relatively strong side - even considering the quality of the opposition. I hope we take the cup seriously but given its right out of the festive period and Newport are dog, I'd expect us to rotate heavily. King and Benny, no, but I'd chuck Diabate in with Ghezzal and Iheanacho. Okazaki at 10. Soyuncu, Fuchs, Simmo, etc. Wholesale changes without having to dredge the u23s. I wish I could trust us to beat these with a largely rested side but I've got visions now of Ghezzal and Iheanacho having shockers. I wouldn't mind a couple of changes at all but that Fleetwood game sticks in my head a bit. Convinced making wholesale changes is just asking for trouble.
