Beechey Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 I've watched every one of our dire games this season, I'll not be watching this one so logically we should win

Line-up is fine but why can't we do this at home ffs It’s all about counter attacking with pace. Wolves will attack us so we will look to hit them on the break. Teams like Southampton rock up to our place and sit back to nick a point of a quick goal on the counter which means we need more possession based players. It’s the key reason we do badly against lesser teams but well against the big boys. Sadly we only show good possession based football in patches hence why we keep getting turned over. Get this right and we are not far from securing 7th in my opinion.
Izzy Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 Kelly Dalglish has got one hell of a rack on her. Knows her football too. The perfect woman

funkyrobot Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 Still a lack of creativity in the middle. I would’ve kept Maddison in the team as a creative midfielder playing centrally in front of 2 cdm’s. Mendy very lucky to keep his place over Choudhury.
fazzyfox Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 I thought they were very good at our place but a little like the old Arsenal style tried to walk it in or score spectacular long rangers, I felt if they added an out and out finisher like a Defoe or Sturridge they'd be a fuller package, able to score some scruffier goals from half chances. Admirable that so few have played Premier League football before but maybe just one or two more who have would help them dig out those extra few results away from home that can make the difference. We need to be a lot better than we were that day even though we got the result. Insert the token "I see they've brought in Jonny to offer them protection" gag.
foxinsox Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 Looks a good line up and formation to me. Its up to the players now.

Think Albrighton is unfortunate as well. B r o k e n t o e!!! Do your homework, before sending out your posts....You naughty boy..write down a 100 times......I am lazy and can't be bothered about reading anything on my teams updates....
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 Surely away fixtures with tricky oppos is when we play the 433 with the three tackling centre mids? I can't fathom the logic. This is a formation that could get over run by wolves passing ability.
Brainy Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 ****ing hell "they're 8th, despite some excellent results Puel is under pressure" conveniently he must have been on holiday for the Palace/Cardiff/Newport/Soton games.

Wouldn't be surprised if the club stops talking to them again.

Nicolo Barella Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 "Nobody knows more about a club than their supporters" Bielsa knows more about Derby than Derby fans I'd wager

yorkie1999 Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 Ah crap, we’ve got that little linesman with the long hair, we always seem to lose.
Wizerud Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 Good lord these 4.30am kick-offs will be the death of me. Let's have a third consecutive 0-1 away win, shall we?
BKLFox Posted 19 January 2019 Posted 19 January 2019 Amazing how just having Barnes back has strengthend the match day squad, that bench is the strongest we've had all season.
