Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Time to log off today. Too much garbage being heaped at Puel’s door for players not taking chances.
adam95581 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Puel vindicated for the selection given the amount of chances we created. Arguably helped out by Mendy getting injured as I think we would have been weak in the middle, but promising signs on the attack and more than enough chances to win the game.
danny2997 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 I think the tactics were spot on today, only question raised is whether Vardy should have started instead of Gray but wouldn't necessarily have guaranteed any change. Very disappointing and "semi-"undeserved. Suppose it comes down to who can finish their chances and that's where Spurs have won this. Good performance from the lads though, very impressed with Tielemans.

Blue'nWhiteFox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 This team really has a great potensial, just being unlucky in both the two last matches. Next year we'll fight for the top 4.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 We have a talented team, we have some very good young players just worried that the big clubs will break that apart in the summer if we don’t finish strongly.
lgfualol Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Would love to know which puel out posters have posted something like "I just want to be entertained, even if we lose" in the last month or so. We have had some exciting and promising games.

Did Chilwell even look up when he played that last cross in? It's just mistake after mistake after mistake and then miss after miss after miss. Its awful. We are our own worst enemy.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 People will say 'we didn't expect to to win these games' but the problem is, other teams are winning these sort of games. And the teams we should be beating we've failed to beat. So where the fvck are our points going to come from?!

LinekersLugs Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Played well like last 2 games and didn’t get what we deserved we need striking options in summer I saw no signs that Claude has lost the dressing room Vardy needs to work harder on his finishing Barnes looks like he could become quality and Youri is a find , hope we have an option on him disappointing result but a very good performance on the whole !
The Blur Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 I really hope Puel will not drop Barnes in the next match, Barnes looked totally gutted with himself and it would not do wonders for his confidence if he gets dropped. However with Puel who knows

lee7 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Toothless with gray upfront for 55 minutes. On another day Barnes could've had 2/3 goals & Vardy too. Again we dominate at times but end up losing the match. Ghezzal offers absolutely nothing.
Foxboy Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 6 minutes ago, HankMarvin said: Shit result No Kane No ALLI Fulham and watford gave them tougher games People will talk about missed chances How is that helped by playing gray upfront Mangers fault today, aslo had all a summer to buy a striker We are still bringing Shinji on as a sub Shit results last season to finish Shit results again this season They absolutely bartered Fulham and Watford. 70% possession in each game and created all the chances. We kept the possession to 50-50 and had way more chances than them. You’ve lost your head mate.
Guest foxestalkisfullofidiots Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 I said in December that I expected us to be 13th after the Spurs game so for me that’s a plus that we are in 12th, decent game to watch, deserved a lot more. I can’t see what Ghazzel brings to the team but might be a different player come next season plus I’d like to see Puel stick with the same side for 4-5 games.
Edingleyfox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Great performance but poor result yet again. What worries me is that we play well against top teams but we struggle in the games we are expected to win.Could be a nervy end to the season. So frustrating
Brainy Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Where does that put us in the Played Well league table? Must put us in contention for the Played Well Champions League next season no?
RowlattsFox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Hard to be annoyed with that despite it being incredibly frustrating. So many good parts of our play but finishing diabolical. Every mistake we make is also leading to goals. Just need to learn how we can play like that against teams that don’t let us. Need to stick with Barnes, hopefully gets an arm round the shoulder after that. 2 huge games for Puel next.
HankMarvin Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Its not Puels fault we concede early Its not Puels fault players dont score Is there any point of having a manager

I thought most Puel outers were happy to lose entertaining football, over dross wins? You're wrong Puel outers are never happy. I imagine they're miserable with the rest of their lives too.
foxfanazer Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Good performance but the same old defensive mistakes and lack of finishing costing us dearly. Dominated the game other than that Tielamans was class
