What does this show Puel has done for his confidence tho

F**k sake, he's given him heaps of game time since he's returned.

Barnes getting tonnes of stick on social media, despite his shooting he had a great game for me.

People will say 'we didn't expect to to win these games' but the problem is, other teams are winning these sort of games. And the teams we should be beating we've failed to beat. So where the fvck are our points going to come from?!

This. Had we beaten the Cardiff’s, Southampton’s, Brighton’s and stuff this wouldn’t have been so bad... but because we play such horrid football against them, losing to spurs when playing well is hard to take.

Good performance we looked good in the middle too what with been missing all season - and all because Mendy got injured, masterstroke.

We created better clear cut chances

3 mins to go we back passing to the keeper, 2 mins to go we have a corner and look like we have all the time in the world.

This team has no intensity, desire or ambition, are a soulless empty reflection of what we used to be.

I can't see how we are going to get another point all season playing how we do.

I Would rather have Warnock as manager than this turd, at least we would have a bit of fight about us.

Puel vindicated for the selection given the amount of chances we created. Arguably helped out by Mendy getting injured as I think we would have been weak in the middle, but promising signs on the attack and more than enough chances to win the game.

Not vindicated at all because those chances were not put away and we still lost.

If he had started with Vardy from the start it may have been a different out come. Gray is not a striker and he hasn’t scored consistently or often enough in his career to have even been given a chance up front.

Time to log off today. Too much garbage being heaped at Puel’s door for players not taking chances.

he picks the players,  his choice to bring barnes back and play gray. drop vardy etc. so yeah.

Quick question after that game.

How many on here still want the Old Guard starting week in and week out or the Young Guns?

Personally I for one think some on here think the Old Guard could still play Ranieri's system from the title winning year.

Meh. We actually looked brilliant at times today which makes things difficult to swollow. Tielemans will add something to us, he looks classy, but as someone said bleeds soft at both ends at the moment which is letting us down.

Played very well for large parts, but ultimately shot ourselves in the foot (and then the other foot, and then the face for good measure). Tielemans seemed to make a real difference in midfield, Ndidi much better also.

Regardless of your stance on Puel, if we were to take less than 4 points (or even less than 6 in some eyes) from the next two then we could conceivably be only 3/4/5 points above the drop going into a difficult away fixture.

It's not games like today as to why we're not pushing on for the top 10/7th, most teams in this league could conceivably play well and lose away at Spurs (even without 3/4 of their better players), it's our rotten home form that means we turn up at Wembley needing a positive result in the first place.

I like what Puel is building, but if our poor run of form is to continue for a few weeks then we'll have gone from battling with Wolves and Watford to fighting off Southampton and Cardiff and the pressure will really be on what is a very young squad.

They absolutely bartered Fulham and Watford. 70% possession in each game and created all the chances. We kept the possession to 50-50 and had way more chances than them. You’ve lost your head mate.

Hank is not worth talking to he hates the manager with a passion

think he hates life to be fair

Missed the game due to family commitments . Result was pretty much what i'd anticipated. Good to see Tielaman's played well from the sound of things.

And will any of that matter when results are looked at and we lost 3-1 in years to come

Great game to watch.

Puel got it right.

Vardy just isn't on form.

Agree with the first two points.

Can’t blame Vardy for missing a penalty seconds after coming on. He did also score didn’t he?

Where does that put us in the Played Well league table? Must put us in contention for the Played Well Champions League next season no?

Love this. Reminds me of the Spurs annual "pushing them all the way" award :appl:
