when the aussies were 120/8 I thought about backing them at huge odds...didn't.  Thought the same after they were skittled for 179....but didn't...

 

And I'm the one who keeps saying you can never write the aussies off.

Yeah we have a problem here - like a lot of sports, there's very few top British coaches 

 

On the whole British sports organisations think short-term and expect success to be the catalyst for a legacy on its own. ECB with their 100 in every facet of it an example of that

Regrettably that's a resignation performance.  The batting has collectively, not just individually, been up to scratch.  Why?  A good leader instils values in the team, Root must accept some share of this disgrace.
