RowlattsFox Posted 17 June 2020 Posted 17 June 2020 I find the crowd noise annoying and off putting. Not watching through sky though so can't turn it off.
Guest ttfn Posted 17 June 2020 Posted 17 June 2020 Harvey Barnes still the last player to score in the Premier League.
StriderHiryu Posted 17 June 2020 Posted 17 June 2020 Pace of the game is surprisingly fast paced. Feels like an intense training session rather than a procession, which makes for interesting viewing. Man City looking silky, but Arsenal maybe could have scored just now with Nketiah!
Webbo Posted 17 June 2020 Posted 17 June 2020 What does everyone think of on screen advertising? On NBCSN there's a little ad next to the score. On Supersport the screen shrinks every 15 minutes or so and there's an ad around the outside. Personally it doesn't bother me.

Unabomber Posted 17 June 2020 Posted 17 June 2020 Interesting that villa had seemingly fan style flags out but all Man City’s seem to be sponsors? Says it all.

Cover up and protect the officials as usual. You watch. At the risk of going full Col City Fan, just confirmed on sky what I said earlier. Cameras blocked by the rare combination of post and keeper wrapping the ball. Totally freak and it sucks for Sheffield United but no technology is ever going to be 100% faultless. Given how good hawkeye has been in all fairness, personally think its easy to forgive. People forget bigger picture in moments like this, as in how much wrong decisions used to happen pre technology vs now. The less forgivable part is that VAR didn't interfere, the lesson to come out of this has to be that not to be complacent about hawkeye and that its OK to double check. 5

RowlattsFox Posted 17 June 2020 Posted 17 June 2020 Injuries don't bode well. Needs to be a way of letting players stay in a hotel night before. Could just be coincidence and unlucky and hopefully not a sign of things to come.

But they stream every prem game, so I'll let them off. 1

StanSP Posted 17 June 2020 Posted 17 June 2020 Anyone else not give a shit that Arsenal took a flight at a certain time? Must be about the 4th time they've mentioned it.

Every club relies on its sponsors but fair play to villa for trying. As theirs was the first game you would have thought advertisers would have been all over it. Either that or nobody was interested in advertising on this game, which as turned out was a good decision.

kingfox Posted 17 June 2020 Posted 17 June 2020 Constant crowd noise at the Etihad, bit unrealistic. 1
