When he was first linked with a big money move, my non City supporting mates were all like ‘you’ll be losing Maguire it seems’ ‘off to a bigger club’ etc as if I’d be gutted. I just replied with my honest opinion which was Evans was the far better of the two and Maguire whilst being decent was living off the World Cup. The amount of times I said I’d drive him to Old Trafford myself for the money being offered. He’s good on the ball, great in the air but terrible positionally and he moves like an oil tanker. We got £80m for that lad!😂

Yeah he's definately hamming it up and some of it's tongue-in -cheek, but he does a great job at keeping a straight face
