Wolves are allowing United way too much space

It's the one thing Chelsea, United and Arsenal do all still have going for them, regardless how shit their squads.

Reputation. Everyone's still afraid of them. I didn't think Wolves would be tbh but it looks a bit like nuno is buying in to the Europa League hype. They were ridiculously negative against us.

Teams still give Arsenal, Chelsea and United way too much fear and respect when they're absolutely there for the taking if you press and play quickly with energy. Some seriously suspect defence.

Injury or not, Maguire was still parts of a team that shipped four here last year, two while he was on the pitch looking absolutely shell shocked.

Very poor half from us.

We've not been playing negatively, this is how we always play. The difference tonight is we've been so poor on the ball. Every time we win it it's given away again so cheaply. When our passing let's us down, our entire game plan goes out the window.

Wan Bissaka makes such a difference for them down that side instead of  facing Ashley Young. He's intercepted two good counter attacks already tonight.

You Just seem to be struggling to get an attack going or finding that final pass or two to get into a good position.

Jimenez had Maguire when he was given a chance at him. Hopefully 2nd half you grow into it and can isolate one of the centre backs.

Like Wolves, on paper we have the midfield to control the play and put pressure on Man Utd's defence. When we go to old trafford we shouldn't sit back against them and make the same mistakes we did against Chelsea in the first half.

Vardy Vs Maguire = goals. But if we play 2 DM's he won't be getting any service.

Put a couple quid on Jimenez & Rashford to get two shots on target each.

Longest wait for a shot in a game involving Man U since 2006/07.

Absolute fvcking classic.

Tbh Chelsea were playing well in the first half, winning all the 50/50s, galvanised by Lampard's first home game. We did improve in the second half even with two DMs. Although I still don't know what Bren is trying to do with Hamza - didn't look half as good as last season playing further back.

Is it a myth then that Wolves play good football? I thought you turned what should have been a cracking game against us into a complete bore fest and tonight you've not looked any better.

Jesse Lingard may very well look like a competition winner out there.

But Adama Traore is like a Make A Wish kid.

How he's a professional let alone in the top flight is beyond me. Genuinely not taking the piss, think Schlupp is literally twice as good a player.
