Personally I think Chiwell would benefit with a spell on the sidelines to give him food for thoughts about areas he can improve on: early cross, forward (instead of backward) passing, positioning and working better with the left winger in front of him. He should not be seriously concerned if Fuchs start because from all accounts he respects Fuchs and Fuchs is in the twilight of his career. Anyway, trust Rogers know what he is doing and will make the right moves.

I suppose that if BR had any worries about Fuchs deputising they have been put to bed, which gives BR the opportunity to chose when Chillers returns. It will be sad to lose the sweet deliveries, but when Chilwell is fully ready he will play. We did look a bit lacking in pace against Sheff U at times, and our flying wing backs help with that.

I forgot how good Fuchs' left foot actually is. He can pass the ball as well as a lot of midfielders.

It's a shame he's getting on. I've really liked him this past couple of games and would go as far as saying I'd actually keep him in for the time being. Chilwell's got the engine over him but in terms of on the ball quality Fuchs is still king.

Yep. Imagine if Chilwell could deliver the ball like Fuchs.

I'm pleased for Fuchs that he is getting some first team action and he has certainly not let us down, but I think that the market can tell us who is better, him or Chilwell.

If we were going to sell Chilwell we'd be expecting about £70m I would've thought.

Fuchs came on a free and that was superb business for us, but how much would a young or peak Fuchs be worth today?  I think, less than half of Chilwell's fee.

I think not,a young Fuch`s would be better in my book.

Indeed, fuchs has such good technique and accuracy if chilly could acquire some of that aswell as be more positive well then.. again.. he wouldnt be at Leicester!

When he finally does hang it up, Fuchs is definitely the one I’m going to miss most from the title team. An amazing player and a true gent!

Was supposed to have retired after the title winning season but still keeps on ticking

He'd just turned 30 when we won the league, are you sure he was going to retire? That's quite young to retire when you're not injured.

Well he would because he came through the ranks.

He is destined for bigger things though.  We won't keep him forever.

I believe that was either invention or ignorance.

Highly unlikely he'll ever be as good delivery wise, but his athleticism and ability to drive forward with the ball will mean he'll go right to the very top.

... wasn't it a case that he was looking to play in the states to be with his family and help to run a business.!

Seemed like a good time to make more memories with a new way of life..

Only internationally though. That said, it's good that he's bided his time here and seized this opportunity due to Chilwell's misfortune. Also  perhaps a blessing that Brendan gave him a year's contract extension....and he's certainly repaid the faith shown in him so far!

On the one hand I'm going to be gutted when Fuchs retires what an impact he's had from the minute he walked through the door.

On the other hand you just know with his personality and understanding of the game and unique take on things he is going to have a great career in the media and be completely biassed towards Leicester City he will be a great tonic to the likes of Danny Murphy, Chris Sutton and Danny Mills who I think are genuinely biassed against us for different reasons.

On the same note I think Danny Simpson will also have a good career In punditry and like Fuchs is Leicester through and through. Be great to have some proper Leicester voices in the national media.

We are definitely under-represented in the national media.

Well, apart from Lineker, Arlo, Manish, that Peters fool etc etc

Lol I hear you! I more meant on the pundrity/opinion side. Savage and Smith suddenly started wearing their ex leicester credentials on their sleeve a bit more when we were going for the leauge but it was pretty transparent.

It would be nice to watch us on Sky Sports or BT and have someone more current sat alongside Jenas, Keane, Neville etc. The ex Leicester players we see tend to be someone who spent time at both clubs playing and don’t really have an insight into the current ongoings or aren’t really too passionate about us.
