420Hashish Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Never started one of these before but since the game is in 3 days, I was like why not? They sacked Flores so hopefully the new manager bounce won't come into effect against us and we can come away with a other 3 points.
martyn Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Lets get behind Pardew and hope he gets us off to a winning start.
One Arm Babba Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Be prepared for them coming to park the bus. They are shocking but Deeney always worries me when we play them
UniFox21 Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Will be another tough game, expect them to be full of fight.
car1os Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Wonder if they follow the same example that Everton and Arsenal have shown - to pack their defence and midfield, and play on the counter. Seems to be the best way to play against us. However very pleased that our switch to a 3-5-2 changed the game in our favour, finding us a way to win the match despite being 2nd best in the 1st half

Poznan34 Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Hayden Mullins expected to be in charge for the match: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/12/01/watford-sack-head-coach-quique-sanchez-flores/
StriderHiryu Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 I thought Everton would be an easy game for us because their players would be playing for their manager to be sacked, but was proved completely wrong and they put up one hell of a fight. Hard to say what Watford will be like. If Flores would be in charge it would probably be the easiest home win ever, but now I suspect the new manager will be in the stands, like Rodgers was when we played Brighton at home last season. That will at the very least make their players put a shift in. On paper we've got more than enough to beat them, but as today proved it can always be hard to get over the line. Nacho's performance today makes me excited though because we over rely on Vardy. That finish of his at the death was truly superb, and if we have someone like that as an option then I think we look in good shape. The Everton game proved that if we have to chase the game we can put two up top and cause problems, so if we need to do it again I am still confident we should get a win from this game. I think it will be surprisingly tight, maybe a 1-0 win to us, maybe Vardy from a Nacho off the bench assist again!
MarriedaLeicesterGirl Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 I expect Vardy to start since he is on a scoring streak. But it will be interesting to see if there are any changes; Gray (if fit) and Praet I am expecting, but will Na ho get rewarded? I can't see Ndidi being dropped for Hamza (although might see this in League Cup QF).
UPinCarolina Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Would have liked our chances more if they’d not sacked the manager - that said, on paper Watford are a desperate club who’ve looked terrible all season long. We should batter them, new manager bounce or not - 3-1 LCFC.
Aus Fox Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 One of Maddison or Tielemans to be rested with Praet to come in, the only change id make- then rest the other on the weekend. Busy schedule coming up, maybe Grey for Perez too if he’s well. Give Nacho another half an hour.
LestaAl Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 On reflection and considering we are still 8 points short of safety ........I think it would be good to go for a win 😏
ForeverandEver Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 2 Games to Safety... then play the U23’s 🤪
sdb Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Let today be a clear warning that no game is a gimme. I'd put Praet and Albrighton in to keep things fresh with the mad fixture pile up about to begin.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Will be another tough game again winnable though 2-1 to Leicester
HybridFox Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 I'd expect us to win but take nothing for granted. Surely Kelechi to feature again?
Wymsey Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Will be quite disappointed if don't score at least three goals and concede none.. The contrast in terms of both team's confidence and morale levels is very much big at present. Start from how the game finished today, with Iheanacho partnering Vardy.
foxfanazer Posted 1 December 2019 Posted 1 December 2019 Hopefully today shows that we have to guard against complacency. No game is a gimme in this league

Gamble92 Posted 2 December 2019 Posted 2 December 2019 Bit of a random question but does anyone know if you can watch 2 different games on 1 Amazon account on Wednesday? Got a United fan in my house who'll wanna watch their game on another tele 😑
trabuch Posted 2 December 2019 Posted 2 December 2019 Obviously we are good enough. I thought today we were a bit slow at times. I think Watford are going to suffer from todays's wake up call, new manager bounce or not.
