MPH Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 it’s no shame to lose to liverpool, but in the manner that we did? Well i hope we use it as a motivator for the rest of the season. Top 4 still in reach but a redoubling of our efforts needed. too many young players thinking they have ‘ made it’ possibly? Time to see some of that Maguire money being spent.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 We're no way near the finished article. Let's just scrape into the CL spots and hope we can hang onto our good players.
Leicesterpool Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 Players just weren't motivated correctly I don't think for this one over before a ball was kicked... Brendan got it wrong this time round I'm afraid. Lets hope better on Saturday against West Ham which I'm sure it will.
adam95581 Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 We’re too nice these days. And we’re showing big teams too much respect.
Chrysalis Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 Combination of a team too young/inexperienced and bad management. Rodgers now needs to get this team back to winning ways quickly as we will need to for our top 4 aim.
ARTY_FOX Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 The way we set up and play the big clubs make it a formality. Someone needs a word with brendan because its embarrassing
TheUltimateWinner Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 That was proper Puel ball. Big test next game to show whether it was just the big boys outclassing us or if this is genuinely a bad run of form.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 Like I said in the match thread, easiest win of Liverpool's season so far. They won that without breaking a sweat. Last two games have put us in our place and then some. Let's just hope we can hang on to the top 4. The only positive from this is that the vultures might not be banging at the door so much in January as no one has made a case for being good enough to warrant a huge bid
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 We should never lose to anyone 4-0 at home. Don’t care who it is and how good they are That is just not good enough from OUR point of view anyway onwards and upwards after today im LEICESTER TIL I DIE
purpleronnie Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 People seem surprised that we lost to Liverpool and Man city. I don't worry about these matches, if we get anything it's a bonus. I get more nervous playing mid table/bottom half teams.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 Also bloody L1, singing about boris Johnson and then loads leaving as the 4th goal went in. ****ing embarrassing.
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 I can accept losing to liverpool but not like that. We were disgusting. Completely gutless right across the field. Vardy was isolated, movement on the wings was non existent until albrighton came on and we really just looked like we couldn't be arsed. Made ourselves look really shit infront of a massive worldwide audience.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 Wank. Look like we've collapsed and desperately need a performance at a poor West Ham on Saturday. This should have been 3/4 at halftime. Barnes looks like he is getting worse. Our wingers and wide men aren't good enough for a top four side. Need to invest in January in these positions. If anyone needs a rest it's Tielmans. Hes been poor for a while. Rodgers got his tactics wrong again too. When will he ever realise Maddison is a not a winger. He gets nullified far too easily. I hope we see a mix up for West Ham game. Although we don't have the depth I feel to do this. We look tired and a bit found out. Just hope we can raise the game for Saturday

PoshhFox Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 Just left the game. We played like mid-table trash

I dont get the diss he gets.

Tanya Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 I do think the idea we can't get top four is ridiculous. It's not nailed on by any stretch but we won't play teams like Man City and Liverpool every week and many so called top sides are still wavering. It's on - but we have to bounce back from this awful humbling

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 Tielemans.. is he carrying an injury or just not arsed at the moment? Really slow off the mark and giving the ball away far too often Drop him and Barnes for a couple of games please
BigWesMorgan Posted 26 December 2019 Posted 26 December 2019 Schmeichel - 6 Ricardo - 7 Soyuncu - 7 Evans - 3 Chilwell - 1 Barnes - 2 Tielemans - 3 Praet - 3 Ndidi - 2 Maddison - 2 Vardy - 4 Any disagreements?
