Liverpool Post Match Thread

Recommended Posts

Hamza should have been on earlier, made a difference.

Same issues exploited, in exactly the same way, by two teams that play almost identical football. We didn't learn from Man City. Disappointing.

We must close down and press high. That is what got us here, we need to be quicker on the ball and faster to support Vardy.

At least we don't need to wait long to rectify this against Wet Spam.

Fortunate it was only 4-0. Did absolutely nothing to help ourselves or affect the game and got exactly what we deserved.

Any faint hopes of catching Liverpool gone after this week so we can focus solely on the top four in the league and the cups. Reinforcements needed to beef the squad up- too many players not doing it at the moment.

Rodgers has a test now, hopefully he can get through it and we hit form again.

I fear for us, at least in terms of the West Ham game. How on earth are we going to pick ourselves up? We are exhausted. And demoralised.

Glad this period is over. Now we try and keep a top four place.

(And yes Liverpool has won the title)

So many players out of form and making so many basic mistakes. Not being able to control the ball properly against quality opposition a recipe for disaster. Decision making v poor too. But the most unforgiveable aspect was we lost our one v ones all over the park (Soyuncu excepted). Win your one v ones!!

Beaten twice in a week by the reigning Champions of England and Europe.

You are deluding yourself sadly. You know in your heart of hearts that we all expected at least to be competitive even if we lost. But simply put, we were spanked in both games and the margins of defeat could have been far worse. We have been abject in both games, not just tactically but worse still in lacking any fire.

There's something very wrong with out intensity and desire. There's been no movement and no pressing, Tielemans is not doing enough for me and needs dropping, it's easy to blame Chilwell but there's more to our poor performances than this, I can't figure it out. There was 10 minutes before the peno but that was it. We're so slow on the ball as well. Very frustrating, we all know we're so much better

Rodgers got a big job building that confidence up again. I don't care how good Liverpool are, that was Like a team playing against. League 1 team in ye fa cup, really disjointed, zero confidence, nervous, gave way too much respect. Surprised form could sway that much.
